Safety, trust & environment
I work from home, so I spend the days and nights with the pets that I care for, and don’t have to leave to go to an outside job.
Information Laura G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about your dog's interactions with other dogs. Are there behavioral issues, like social anxiety? Does the dog have health issues, ie: take meds, or even are there certain areas of his/her body that are sensitive to being pet? Are strangers allowed to pet them? Do they have certain favorite toys that comfort them or favorite games? Are dog parks a safe option or are there favorite routes for walks?
A typical day
There will be tons of cuddles and snuggling, obviously. I have been known to cuddle up and nap on the floor if the pets aren't allowed on the bed! I love to walk and would love to take suggestions regarding your neighborhood, or scope out our own adventures!

Home full-time-pets are my passion!
Pet care experience
I work as a fully remote documentary researcher, which means I can spend all of my time at your home, lavishing your pet(s) with attention and love, exactly as if they were my own! I am capable on a professional level of administering meds, giving subcutaneous fluids, and handling social anxiety and behavioral issues for pups of all sizes and breeds, senior care, special care after surgeries, etc. The number one thing I hear from my clients is that they finally felt they could finally relax on vacation or business trips, knowing for SURE that their pets were in great hands! I am responsible and reliable and will leave your house as you left it, if not cleaner! Animals have always played a HUGE role in my life, and I have given my heart and soul into my animal work! I worked professionally as a petsitter for many years. I have also worked as an assistant vet tech, and I have volunteered for both animal shelters where my sole job was to walk and socialize potential adoptees, and also wildlife rescue centers doing behavior enrichment for animals from wolves to mountain lions! I also worked seasonally as a wildlife tech in Alaska, researching musk ox, brown bears, reindeer, etc, and lived for months at a wolf rescue center in CO. All I need is Wi-Fi, so your pet(s) and I can hang out all the time!

Dogs had a wonderful time with Laura, as usual

Laura cared for my dog and cat a second time, keeping me updated with photos throughout the weekend and asking questions to ensure they received the best care, and she left my home sparkling. Would absolutely request her again!

Laura was wonderful with our little dog who is nervous around new people. She immediately warmed up to Laura. We received many photos and regular updates while we were away and returned to a happy dog and clean home.

Laura was great, she was very communicative and sent texts and pictures throughout each day to let us know how our puppy was doing. She came over to meet us several weeks before our trip which I really appreciated, and quickly responded to my emails and texts. Would definitely recommend and use her again.
