Remote Worker & Lifetime Dog Lover!
I’ve been caring for dogs for all of my life, both through growing up with family dogs and helping care for pets belonging to friends and neighbors ☺️ Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities (from small energetic pups to large, gentle giants and everything in between). I’m comfortable with everything from walks, feeding, playtime overnight care, administering medication, and providing lots and lots of attention and affection. What I believe sets me apart is the flexible and tailored level of care and companionship I can provide. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present throughout the day and give dogs the attention they deserve! Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring the neighborhood, or simply curling on the couch for some company, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I’ve always loved being around dogs and I’ve dreamed of having one of my own as an adult. While I’m not in a place to have my own right now, caring for other people’s pets gives me the opportunity to share that love while ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family!!

When caring for pets in someone’s home or out and about, my goal is to keep the routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’ll follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, house rules, and favorite routines. Safety is always my top priority whether at home or on a walk. I pay super close attention to my surroundings, keep dogs leashed unless otherwise instructed in a safe, enclosed area, and make sure they have plenty of water, exercise, and attention. I’m also mindful of things like hot pavement, crowded areas, and anything else that could make a dog uncomfortable or unsafe. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big deal. I’ll treat your space with the same respect I would my own, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet is happy safe and well care for while you’re away!!

Amanda was awesome. Responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. There were a few very hot days for a dog walk and she did a great job making sure Remy stayed cool and got her walk in! Five stars, no doubt.

Schedule
As mentioned above, pet care fits really well into my routine because I work remotely and have a flexible schedule! Most of my meetings tend to be in the afternoons, but since I can work from anywhere, I’m happy to work from your home while caring for your dog. That means they can have company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I naturally build walks, outdoor time, and movement into my day, so taking a dog out for fresh air, exercise is something I genuinely enjoy!! Whether your dog is high energy and loves adventure or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to the routine and make sure they feel comfortable safe and loved while you’re away 💓
