Dog-loving and dependable doctor
I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have always been the person who gets excited when there’s a dog in the room. My family has had our dog for the past 10 years, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day realities of caring for a dog—from walks, feeding, playtime, and keeping them company to simply making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I’ve also helped care for and pet-sit dogs for friends and others over the years. While I’m new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to being around dogs or taking care of them. I’m a physician by training and currently have a very flexible schedule due to a recent surgery, which gives me plenty of time and attention to devote to the dogs I care for. I’m responsible, dependable, attentive to details, and take seriously the trust involved in having someone else care for a member of your family. Most importantly, I genuinely love dogs and would be thrilled to spend some of my extra time walking, playing with, and caring for yours!

Safety, trust & environment
I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog—and your home—in someone else’s care. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including your dog’s normal walking route, feeding schedule, medications, and any behavioral or safety considerations. On walks, I’m attentive to traffic, other dogs, and anything else that could pose a risk. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you know your pup is safe and having a good time!

I have known James P. since he was 13 or 14, and have remained friendly with him and his entire family for many, many years. James brought his family dog to my house on multiple occasions over the years to play with my dogs. Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible, with a combination of remote research and other flexible work. I’m available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week in the Cambridge/Boston area and can often accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and last-minute requests. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine whenever possible.
