About: I grew up with one or two dogs (labradors and spaniels have a soft spot in my heart) at any given time and have had plenty of experience walking and caring for their needs. Bathing, walking, playing, giving medication, cleaning up their messes… etc. I also have experience house/dog sitting over the past several years. I have cared for both dogs and cats separately and together. Currently I’m between jobs and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule during the work week and weekends and am excited to meet your pets! I am currently in between graduate school and starting work. I live in West End/Dupont Circle/Foggy Bottom and I can be flexible in that general area and Georgetown/Logan Circle during the work week and most weekends! I don’t host pets in my own home, but I am always respectful of other people’s homes. I’m tidy and respectful of others spaces and rules for their pets.

“Niamh was fantastic! She stepped in and cared for our dog when other care fell through. She was communicative and took fabulous care of our pup!! Would absolutely book her again.”

“Kelli has been the most reliable and kind dog Walker! She sends lots of photos and gives detailed notes after each walk. I would highly recommend! She treats your dog like her own in the best way.”

About: I've grown up in a home with two rescue dogs and I'm very familiar with the ins and outs of pet care. As a kid I loved walking my dogs, playing with them, and watching them thrive. I'm ready to handle any challenges that comes with pet care! Growing up with rescue dogs gave me important perspective on patience and consideration with dogs. While they might not be able to express it verbally, animals DO communicate their boundaries, each comes with their own experiences that influence their needs and behavior. My own dogs have equipped me to read an understand pet body language and make sure pups are comfortable, safe, and happy. My work is remote so I have lots of flexibility to accommodate a variety of schedules as well as take my time with pet care. I know how important it is to have clear-cut communication and reliability are while you are away and I’m committed to providing that for you and your pet. I'm prepared to care for your dog in their home how it works best for you and them. All pups have different needs and I'm committed to their preferences and your routines. Having grown up with two dogs in my own home, I consider pets members of the family. As a sitter, it's of the utmost importance to me that I treat your animals as family members and ensure their safety. I'm attuned to the smallest details in pet safety, like making sure doors always get closed and pups don't get ahold of any items that aren't meant for them.

“This is our second time with Zuly. Teddy has grown since they last met about 7 months ago but when Zuly came over Teddy was so happy! Zuly is punctual, professional, trustworthy, and kind. She just has a way of making you feel at ease leaving your fur child with her and is so sweet with Teddy 🤗 She also takes the best pictures of your pup with a detailed update!! I would trust Zuly with Teddy anytime. Thank you Zuly!!”

About: I have been around dogs since I was a kid and got my first dog at the age of five. Besides my personal experience taking care of all the dogs my family and I have had throughout the years, I have also done dog/cat sitting (overnight and drop in) for family friends. I am extremely thorough in my care for animals as I realize they are a part of the family. I have no issues working with animals (although I have mostly worked with dogs) who have high levels of energy or specific requirements. I have also overnight sat for more than one dog at a time. I work remote and am often able to care for dogs throughout my day. With a flexible work schedule, I can ensure that I am taking care of your dog whenever works best for them! While I am in an apartment, I live alone and have a fairly large space. Additionally I am only a few blocks from various dog parks (if that is something you allow). I would do everything in my power to ensure that your pet feels that my space is a safe environment for them and will be sure to communicate frequently with the owner about any questions that arise.

About: I have had pets of all kinds my entire life. From dogs big and small, to cats, hamsters, and bunnies. I am more than prepared to take care of your beloved pets while your gone. I'm new to the area and applying to jobs, so I have plenty of time to play, and nurture your animals until you get back. I am able to create a safe and trusting environment, by reading a dogs body language, and knowing when I need to back off or when they need space.

About: Throughout college I was a puppy sitter for Guide Dogs for the Blind, even co-raising a Guide Dog(black lab named Krypton) with my roommates! This gave me great experience in dog training, I attended weekly classes for two years. These classes also provided information on dog safety. At home in Arizona I also have two cavapoos, Gigi and Stella, I love then dearly! I am currently a first year medical student, just moved to DC from Arizona. I am missing my dogs at home so decided to sign up to be a dog sitter! I am hoping to walk dogs in the late afternoon or night a few times a week, or during the day on weekends. I have dog sat for my friends and family in the past at their houses and always had great reviews! I consider myself extremely clean, responsible, and communicative. At this time, my apartment is too small to watch a dog here, but I would be more than happy to travel to you!

“Trinity has been an excellent daytime walker for my dog. She’s reliable and communicative, but most importantly she takes great care of my pup. I definitely would recommend her to anyone interested.”
