“Nicholas was a joy to work with. Super reliable, would use the app appropriately, and would send comments and pics after every visit. Would definitely use their services again!”

“Priscilla is our favorite person in DC! She is friendly, reliable, has excellent communication skills and takes great care of our furry boys! She is everything you need when you go way for a business trip or a vacation and want to have a peace of mind and be sure that everyone back at home would well be taken care of. On top of that her visit updates are absolutely priceless - love to read them when we are away, always make me smile 🙌😂”

“Jenna and Matthew are amazing! This is the second time I’ve booked with them and they do a great job every time. I’ve booked 30 minute drop-ins and they always play with my dog when there’s extra time instead of just leaving when she’s done being walked/fed. It means a lot to me that they go the extra mile to make sure my dog is happy!”

“Callie kindly helped us out on short notice, to come keep Prissy company and let her out to use the bathroom, while I was away on a day trip. Prissy seemed comfortable around her and I came home to a happy dog!”

“Dylan was amazing watching my sweet kitty Winnie. She took great care of her while I was gone and sent me cute pictures, videos, and updates. She was great with Winnie's meds. Dylan and Winnie bonded while I was away, and I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend hiring Dylan to take care of your pet!”

“Fia is absolutely fantastic! She is reliable and truly cares about my dog’s happiness and well-being. Every walk is more than just a quick trip outside, she gives my dog plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I can always tell how much my dog adores her, which gives me total peace of mind when I can’t be there. Fia also keeps me updated with photos and notes, which is such a thoughtful touch.”

“Our dog is very shy so can be tough to care for but Olivia did a great job with her. She was very responsible, a good communicator and asked good questions. She took care of all the messes Poppy made and so the house looked and smelled clean when we got home!”

About: As a pet parent myself, I know how hard it can be to leave our babies behind. My goal is to help alleviate any worry by providing quality care to your animals - with lots of playtime, pets, and cute pictures :) While new to Rover, I have ample experience caring for cats and dogs! My schedule is pretty flexible, so I am happy to coordinate a care schedule that works for you and your pet! When booking house sitting stays, please note that I will need to leave after your pet’s morning routine to service drop-in & dog walking clients and will return for their evening routine. If you want a midday check-in for your pet during overnight stays, let me know! For your first visit, I’m happy to have a quick initial “meet and greet” with your pet and walk through their care. I promise to provide consistent and clear communication throughout the process.

“Walker did a great job of looking after our cat during our holiday. He was very conscientious about keeping us updated every day. Highly recommended”

“Great communication and very responsive. She did a great job with our blind dog, who is fairly difficult. I could tell she genuinely cared about our dog and providing great service.”

“Noa was so wonderful! Very prompt communication and was able to accommodate relatively last minute drop-ins. She made me feel at ease leaving my cat in her care. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I grew up with one or two dogs (labradors and spaniels have a soft spot in my heart) at any given time and have had plenty of experience walking and caring for their needs. Bathing, walking, playing, giving medication, cleaning up their messes… etc. I also have experience house/dog sitting over the past several years. I have cared for both dogs and cats separately and together. Currently I’m between jobs and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule during the work week and weekends and am excited to meet your pets! I am currently in between graduate school and starting work. I live in West End/Dupont Circle/Foggy Bottom and I can be flexible in that general area and Georgetown/Logan Circle during the work week and most weekends! I don’t host pets in my own home, but I am always respectful of other people’s homes. I’m tidy and respectful of others spaces and rules for their pets.

“John is awesome - we highly recommend him! He has exceptional communication and is very responsive before/during his visits. He is great with our pup who can be challenging with new people - he’s incredibly patient and knowledgeable about caring for dogs, including our very large puppy!”

“Kelli is the best! We always book her when she’s available. She’s nice and friendly, gives great reports, and even our shy scaredy cat sometimes lets her pet him.”

“Gwen is reliable, on time, and followed every instruction perfectly. Gidget was happy, calm, and well taken care of. She’s responsible, kind, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Zuleirys did a fantastic job looking after our kitten while we were away over the winter holidays. She was always diligent to try to play with our kitten, and followed the pet sitting instructions to a T! Would absolutely recommend!”

About: I have volunteer experience taking care of abused greyhounds that were discarded by their owners after losing races - taking care of animals and loving them unconditionally is something near & dear to my heart. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and now that I’m in DC getting my masters (as a therapist), I find myself missing that daily dose of playfulness. I’d love to take care of your pup while you’re away. I’ve dogsat and walked for friends in DC before, usually for 1-2 weeks, but never via an app - just as a friend. I’m a fully-remote grad student therapist who can take plenty of breaks between sessions. I’ve completed the academic portion of the degree, so I set my schedule entirely. I live in a dog-friendly apartment in Foggy Bottom, and frequently take walks around the area. My surroundings are mostly campus and students, it’s very relaxed during the summer - not much traffic either. My apartment is spacious and your dog will be well taken care of!
