About: I’ve grown up with cats and animals, even helped my own cat give birth (covid times) and currently have 2 cats of my own. I’ve taken care of larger dogs as well, sweet pit bulls are my favorite! I am accommodating and love meeting new people and animals. I’m available to care for animals on extended weekends and weekdays if needed. I am located in downtown Durham and can access your pets quickly if needed. My schedule is very flexible and I am punctual. I love playing with my 2 cats and parent’s dog as I believe playtime is important for stimulation. About: A few years ago, I lost both my very senior dogs, which I adopted as puppies from the shelter. As you can imagine, there's a dog-shaped space in my life. I'm not ready to adopt again, but that means your dog has a second home! Other than errands, I’m home all day with your dog. About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds.
