About: I have walked and pet sat for 5+ years, and for the past two years, I have fostered rescue dogs as well. I love to hang out with your dog, whether that includes walks, playing, or just hanging out on the couch. I just finished a masters degree and am currently searching for a full time job, so I have a very flexible schedule, with availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am very careful to ensure dogs are safe when I take them for walks or pet sit. I always look for potential dangers (got lots of experience avoiding chicken bones on the street in NYC!) and keeping your dog safe is my top priority.
“Claire patiently and gently built trust with our recently rescued, young husky, Wheeler, who can be apprehensive with some people. She showed equal patience and skill walking this often stubborn teenager who can slow down a walk by obsessing over acorns and rolling around in grass. Claire is also a great communicator and shared many photos of their walk. She went the mile by setting Wheeler up with his beloved peanut butter kong treat in his kennel as requested. It was a relief to know he was in her care.”

“Bell is reliable, attentive, friendly, and my dog loved her! He is a fearful and sometimes stubborn baby, she was able to get him out for walks on the first visit when it has often taken people multiple times to get to that point. She was very quick and thorough in her responses and put me at ease that my pup would be okay while I was out of town. We will definitely consider her again in the future!”

About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.
“Cori was fabulous with taking my dog on walks and feeding her while I was out of town, she was also able to administer her meds! She sent lots of pictures and videos and I was able to trust that my dog was in good hands!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always felt a strong connection to them. I’m currently a graduate student in Animal Science, which has deepened my understanding of animal behavior, health, and care. I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for years and have experience working with cattle, sheep, horses, reptiles, and mice. I’ve also volunteered with animal rescues, fostering and helping animals feel safe and ready for adoption. My experience working on a dairy farm and being closely connected to farm environments through my family’s ranch has given me hands-on experience caring for many species beyond just dogs and cats. I’m comfortable in a wide range of situations, from energetic puppies to shy pets that need extra patience. I follow routines closely, can give medications, and pay attention to small changes in behavior to help keep pets safe and healthy. I also enjoy playtime and can reinforce basic training when it’s part of their routine. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet and your home in someone else’s care. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I treat every pet as what they are—family—and believe they deserve care, respect, and attention. I’m currently a graduate student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate consistent time to pet care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and can adjust my routine to match your pet’s needs. Please feel free to reach out to discuss availability. I’m happy to work with your schedule. Taylor was so lovely with the pups. They had a wonderful time walking with her. She was so gentle and responsive to both of them and matched their energy levels and interactional styles beautifully in a way that set them both fully at ease quite rapidly. Excited to know there are walkers out their like Taylor who are attentive and with whom the pups can be both happy and kept safe!
Truly the best! Cleo was very communicative sharing updates and the best pictures, my husband and I felt very comfortable leaving our 6 month old energy filled pup in her hands, you could tell she genuinely cares which means a lot, we are so grateful we found her! We highly recommend(:

Couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our pup, Camil was very communicative, trust worthy, and very caring. Picking up on small habits we forgot to mention (like her love of sticks) it was clear when would get home from work that she was getting lots of love and exercise from her afternoon walks. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was safe, happy, and well cared for.

Ross has been really great with our fellas! Was very thorough at our meet and greet, making sure he knew what the dogs normal walk route was and even did a practice run with us to make sure the dogs walked well with him. He’s been with us for about 2 weeks now and everything has been great! Highly recommend!
