About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up around animals and truly believe they are family, not just pets. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of personalities and at different stages of life, including my senior dog Jacob (11). Having an older dog has taught me to be patient, notice the little things, and make sure pets are comfortable and cared for as they get older. I’ve also worked with my dog Atlas, who has had some behavioral challenges. Helping him over the years has taught me that every animal is different and that trust, consistency, and patience go a long way. I enjoy taking the time to understand each pet and what helps them feel safe and happy. Since I have a multi-pet household with dogs, cats, and birds, I’m comfortable with different routines and different types of care. I know every pet has their own personality, habits, and needs. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I truly care about the animals I look after. I don’t just show up to feed them—I want to build a connection with them, make them feel comfortable, and give them the same care and love I would want someone to give my own pets. Pet care is a part of my everyday routine. Every day, I feed my three dogs, two cats, and two parakeets, make sure they always have fresh water, and spend time playing with and caring for them. My dogs get regular walks and outdoor time, and I love taking them on hikes whenever I can. My cats get plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment, and I make sure their litter boxes stay clean. I also care for my parakeets by cleaning their cage, refreshing their food and water, and giving them time to interact and explore. Because caring for animals is already part of my daily life, adding your pet to my routine feels. I’ll make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own pets. I care for every pet like they are my own because I truly believe pets are family. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I love taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe and happy. At home, I care for my three dogs, Jacob (11), Luna (7), and Atlas (8), my two cats, Stinky (5) and Kiwi (6), and my two parakeets, Suki and Dewy. My dogs get lots of attention, exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures like walks and hikes. Luna has had some behavioral challenges, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal learns and grows at their own pace. Seeing how much she has improved over the years has shown me how important love and patience are when caring for pets. My cats, Stinky and Kiwi, have completely different personalities, and that’s one of the things I love most about cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them entertained, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure they have a comfortable and happy environment. I also have experience caring for my parakeets, Suki and Dewy. I’m comfortable with feeding them, cleaning their cage, changing their water, and making sure they get attention and enrichment. While I haven’t owned larger birds, I’m always willing to learn and make sure I understand each pet’s needs. When caring for your pets in your home, I’ll respect their routine and follow your instructions closely. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, and to give them the same care and attention I give my own pets because I know how much they mean to your family.

About: I've been pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family since I was 16 and have been around dogs my entire life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets of all ages and personalities. I have volunteered with animal rescues since I was 12, fostered numerous dogs and cats, and am comfortable providing basic medical care, including oral medications, eye drops, injections, and subcutaneous fluids when needed. I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime, extra patience, or specialized care, I'm dependable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I'm currently taking online classes during the summer, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pets. In the fall I will be returning to in person classes, however my schedule will still allow me to be a reliable care giver for your pets and satisfy all of their needs! I understand that trusting someone with your pets and home is a big decision. I treat every home with respect and follow your pets routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable while you're away. I am experienced in administering oral medications, eye drops, some injections, and fluids when needed. Whether your pet loves to play, needs extra patience, or requires special care, I'll provide reliable, attentive care and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit.

About: I have been absolutely obsessed with animals since I was a tiny baby! I volunteer at the Animal Protection Society of Durham, and dog/ cat sit for friends and family! I am currently going to Wake Tech for Psychology. I’m taking majority online classes, so my schedule is pretty free and I am very flexible I have two dogs of my own which I take care of. They don’t necessarily get along with cats which is why I don’t own one.

About: Dogs are the center of my universe. I've spent the past 4 years as a local and state lobbyist to pass humane legislation that protects both dogs and cats. It's not just a job, it's my life's purpose. I recently lost both of my dogs, and I miss them every single day. Spending time with dogs isn't just something I enjoy, it's something I need. I don't have any pets right now and I would love to have a furry friend to keep me company. I love to get down on their level for kisses, let them sniff the grass, and just give them the freedom to just be a dog. I'd be honored to give your dog the same love and care I gave mine, and to get a little of that joy back in return. I am currently retired and can be available any day of the week after 10:00 a.m.. I am also available as late as 9:00 p.m.. I currently do not have any pets which makes my apartment ideal for dogs who need one-on-one attention. My lease does not allow overnight visits but daytime visits are perfectly okay.

Back home in Tennessee, I have 2 Yorkies and a Goldendoodle, and I’ve also helped neighbors, friends, and family care for their pets over the years. I typically work mornings during the week and am usually home by mid afternoon, but I can adjust my schedule as needed for walks, potty breaks, feedings, playtime, and medication schedules. I make it a priority to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. I pay close attention to each pet’s normal routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any special instructions so they can stay as stress free as possible. I’m experienced with walks, potty breaks, playtime, crating if needed, and giving pets space when they need it. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

I'm currently working full-time as a nursing assistant, which includes three 12-hour shifts per week. I'm very available and flexible on my days off and happy to stop in for any of your pet care needs! When caring for pets in your home, their comfort and safety come first. I follow your established routines closely to keep things familiar and stress-free—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, crate habits, or house rules. I take time to understand your pet’s personality and needs so they feel secure while you’re away, and I always keep doors, gates, and spaces safely managed to prevent any escapes or accidents.
