About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have a spoiled pup of my own. I love building trust with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work in a school system and am off work during the summer, which means I have lots of an availability during weekdays! As long as I have notice, I am happy to accommodate however I can. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I carefully follow all instructions and do my best to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or extra cuddles, I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs.

“Eliza has been an amazing dog walker for us! Our silly dog, who is sometimes shy around new people, absolutely loves her. Eliza always sends cute photos of their walks, and detailed updates about their time together. We really appreciate her and highly recommend her!”

“Sriya is so patient with Barney's "quirks". She not afraid to step in for him to get to know her and is firm when she needs to be. So thankful to find a walker/pet sitter willing to work slow in gaining his trust!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Christina! She has amazing energy, is always upbeat and professional, and truly loves what she does. My dogs absolutely adore her and get so excited every time she comes by. It gives me such peace of mind knowing they’re in such great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, kind, and truly passionate about animals!”

About: Growing up with big dogs has taught me so much about responsibility and patience. I have been raised around a Rottweilers, Golden Retrieve and a Weimaraner, and people often say I'm really good with dogs because of it. I work in hospitality, where my schedule can vary from week to week. Even with the different hours, I’m super flexible and can handle any tasks that come my way. I ensure that I will do anything in power that I keep your furry friends safe. I also make sure doggies are well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention, regular exercise, and a comfortable, loving space.
“Sarahbelle was quick to respond to our request. She connected with Niko as soon as she met him. She has great energy! Reliable, good communication and was able to be flexible with our needs. Will book again!”

About: I bring almost nine years of veterinary medicine experience into a calm, home-based style of dog care. I am very comfortable reading body language, following detailed instructions, and noticing small changes that might matter for your dog’s health or comfort. I’m used to working with seniors, dogs on medications, and pups who are a little anxious or reactive, so things like careful timing, gentle handling, and sticking to routine are normal parts of how I care for dogs. I treat each dog like an individual, keep communication clear, and focus on making sure they feel safe and understood while you are away. I already plan my week around a flexible schedule, which makes room for pet care instead of squeezing it in. Two days I work remote, so I can do a full visit, feeding, play, whatever your cat needs. On office days I use my lunch break for a drop-in or book early evening visits I know I can actually make, so I'm never rushing through it. I'm a homebody by nature, so spending part of my day in a quiet house with a cat isn't a chore, it's exactly how I like to spend time. Since I'll be in your home, your cat keeps their normal routine and space, with someone who isn't watching the clock. I care for cats in their own home by keeping things calm, predictable, and focused on what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I start by following the client’s routine as closely as possible: meal times, portions, favorite spots, and any house rules they already know. I give them space at first, especially shy or cautious cats, and let them come to me on their terms while I move slowly and quietly. I make sure litter boxes, food, and water are kept clean and fresh, and I pay attention to small changes in behavior, appetite, or energy so I can flag anything that seems off to the owner. I spend real time with them, not just a quick in-and-out visit: play if they want to play, brushing or cuddles if that is what they enjoy, and quiet company for cats who just like having someone nearby. I keep doors, windows, and outdoor access exactly as the owner requests, and I treat their home with the same respect I give my own. Throughout the stay, I send clear, honest updates and photos so the owner always knows how their cat is doing and can feel relaxed while they are away.
“Sabrina was amazing! My pup loved her and she was so thoughtful about his heart condition when he was in her care. I really appreciate her time and care. I look forward to her services in the future and I’m sure Legend is too!”

About: I have spent al my childhood and teenage years at my grandparents farm house full of chickens, pigs, cows, geese, cats and dogs helping my grandparents. College, a baby and an apartment we lived in for several years did not allow me to have an opportunity to be a pet owner as well as a pet sitter, however, now as I own a house near a park and have flexibility working online, I am happy to help families who need to travel, spend a few days out of the house or need just a few quiet hours and space with watching their pets. I have my whole heart, time and space to make sure your pets are safe and happy while you are away. Lots of walks and balls throws are guaranteed. I am very good with those dogs who are picky with food and find my ways to finally encourage them to eat as well as provide those who are too much food motivated with a good exercise before they receive a treat. I live very close to the airport which makes a drop off and pick up very convenient. I am working online with totally flexible hours. Can walk with your pet as much as needed as well as spend an evening outside as we take our evening walk out in a greenway. I can also help to pick up your furry friend from home and drop them back if needed. I have a house with a fenced back deck and will follow instructions you would provide me with to make sure your pet receives all time and attention he needs. I’ll enjoy playing and running and as much hugs as your pet will allow me to do

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Carpenter
Peyton is great. She always arrived on time, lived right across the street from me and was very convenient. Diamond loved her and always looked forward to her walks. She let Peyton know when she was tired and wanted to come home. Peyton loved her. Thank you so much. Will use her again. Highly recommend.

Qianyu is an excellent dog sitter/walker and I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for quality care for their pet-children! She is very punctual, caring, and has excellent communication. I have three very needy dogs who are quite the handful! Qianyu always comes on time, sends pictures and updates of the walks and leaves them happy. I can read my dogs well and can usually tell a good sitter from a not so good one by my dogs' demeanor, and my dogs are always happy with Qianyu - thank you!

We really loved Margaux! She really stepped to the plate during a stressful emergency situation in our family that led to us needing a last min dog walker for our cute Brindi, multiple times a day and for a whole week and then several additional times the following week. She was personable, experienced, punctual, and even did her best attempts during a storm where Brindi was too scared to go outside. We only had to end services as we would noy be able to afford to pay for long term. But we highly recommend Ms. Margaux!!🥰🥰🥰🐈🐈🐈🐈🙏🙏🙏

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
