About: I've had animals since I was born and spent my early years stealing the dog bed from our dalmation, Pepper. I began a dog walking service when I was 9 and provided regular walks, visits, and overnight care during college. I'm patient, friendly, and generally liked by all dogs I encounter. Cats usually love me, too, although knowing cats, I don't take it personally if they keep their distance. Currently laid off from my job, so looking for ways to earn some cash, make new furry friends, and get in my daily steps! Weekends are often booked with childcare for my granddaughter, but I'm available to spell your pups and kitties during weekday hours as needed. Depending on the animal, providing a good dose of pets, snuggles, and attention goes a long way. For younger or more energetic animals, play time or walking exploration is necessary. I often think about how bored some animals must get while we all work on a computer or watch TV. When I walk my dog, I make sure to let her sniff as long as she needs so we can get the interaction and stimulation with her environment that she needs. I try to be empathetic and imagine the emotions animals must feel in their interactions with us, so I just try to treat them as kindly as I would want to be treated in their situation.

About: I’ve had pets of different breeds and species since I was a child, I am 30 now! I have experience administering medications both oral and subcutaneous. Before moving to NC, I pet sit for my friends and family! I currently work full time but I work mainly early morning shifts, so I can make time for drop ins after work most days! I can also do a drop in on my lunch break if located close enough I have a fenced in yard and both of my dogs are crate trained! I have two cats who use an automatic litterbox as well!

About: Hi, I’m Maria! I offer drop-in visits for dogs and cats and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. Whether they need a walk, playtime, cuddles, or just some company, I’m happy to be there. I’ll give your pets my full attention and treat your home with care. Everything I earn goes toward my daughter’s college fund. I am available every weekday after 6pm for walks and drop-in visits, except Thursdays. On weekends, up to twice a day. Whatever your pet needs, we’re happy to help. During each visit, I will make sure your pet feels safe and cared for, fresh water, food, and plenty of playtime or a walk if that’s part of the visit. I take your instructions seriously, from locking doors to handling keys with care. I always start with a meet and greet first, so I get to know your pet and you feel comfortable having me in your home.

About: I am a private chef who spends most of the day baking, cooking, and playing with my Morkie, Brownie, and sweetie Black cat, Meryl. Brownie is small and friendly and gets along with all dogs. He has a bubbly personality, just like me! Meryl is an elder cat that prefers a sunlit window to a human but is very kind to humans and other pet visitors! I have experience with small puppies, large dogs, and cats of different breeds. I used to volunteer my time at shelters and rehoming spaces. I am home often enough to give love, attention, and potty breaks! I would love to spend time with your pet and help them feel more at ease while you're away. Available for walks and at-home check-ins! I work from home on my own schedule since I facilitate culinary spaces and non-profits. I can be flexible with different timing needs to support care! I have pet beds, feeding dispensers, filtered water fountains, and plenty of toys! I like to keep the home at a more room-temperature so pets (and myself!) can stay comfortable. In your house, I follow instructions and ask questions before I begin to care. I prefer to stay only in approved spaces in the home and know where all the needed materials are provided.

I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, and spent four years working as a Veterinary Assistant in Wilmington and Chapel Hill. I currently work from home running a small business. I do not work every day. I am flexible and available to help you out when needed. I have a Labrador Retriever and two senior, friendly domestic shorthair cats of my own. While you’re away, I care for your pets as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs. I like to keep a log for you on how they did and how things went for our time together. We have a nice sized home to accommodate your furry friend. Pets are allowed upstairs. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. We have a large, fenced back yard for those pups that like to sunbathe or sniff around during the day! I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.
