About: Hi there! My name is Jess. 🙂 I have happily been around animals my entire life. Growing up, my parents always had multiple dogs and several cats at once that were rescues. It was a bit of a zoo and I loved and cherished every minute of it. When I was 22 and on my own, I adopted two cats of my own (who have thus since passed, as I’m now 40 years old). Fast forward into 2018, my husband and I adopted our first Australian Labradoodle together. Two years later in 2020, we adopted our second Labradoodle. Their names are Annabelle (age 6) and Falkor (age 3) and they are definitely my children! 🙂 (I also have two actual human children 😁, a 13 year old girl and a 10 year old boy.) I have been a stay-at-home-mom since 2011. While I very much love children, I absolutely love animals as well and felt called to take care of them outside of my home. I am very caring, loving, nurturing, sweet, considerate and compassionate. I am also very reliable, trustworthy, patient, communicative, and responsible. I can take your animal(s) for walks, play with them, clean up after them, ensure they’re fed accordingly and have plenty of fresh water throughout my stay. I am open to giving medication as well if needed. If your pet(s) are open to affection, I am super happy to give them lots of love! I will be happy to send updates and pictures throughout my time with your pet(s). I will also ensure to have your home just as tidy and clean as in the same condition you left it. I will wholeheartedly and with full promise and assurance, take care of your fur baby/babies as if they were my own because of the true love I have for animals in general, but also because I would absolutely want the same for my pets if it were the other way around and I were personally putting trust in a sitter. I’m happy to answer any additional questions and concerns you may have. In addition, if you choose to book me as your sitter, I am happy to come over sometime before actually sitting if you’d like for me to meet your pet(s), to show me around your home, and go over any things in person you feel would be beneficial and helpful. **Please note: I will only be providing my services in Smoke-Free homes as well as sanitary homes. I politely ask that if I’m to spend the night that fresh, clean sheets and a clean comforter as well as a clean shower be provided (if I am to stay overnight). Thank you for understanding. I am available throughout the day as needed and offer over-night stays as well. I may possibly just need to briefly leave once during the day depending on the timing of my stay to make a quick trip back to my own home to check in with my dogs and children. I will take extra care and caution ensuring your animal(s) do not get outside as I come and go during my stay and make sure all doors are locked. I will ensure any gates stay closed as needed. I will be very mindful about making sure your pet(s) will not have access to people food. I will also make sure there’s nothing left lying around that could potentially be hazardous to them.
“Lauren has been walking my baby (yes, I call my dog my baby lol) for a little over a month now. She usually walks him 3 times a week. At first I was a little nervous about having someone pick him up when I'm not at home. However, Lauren has eased a lot of my concerns. She has been professional and very flexible. I feel like my baby is in good hands with her. I highly recommend that you give her a try!”

“Heather went above and beyond to take care of my older pup over the holidays while we were out of town with no worries about anything and came back to a very happy, well-taken care of pup. Highly recommended!”
“Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for being so kind and for walking Valentino! I’m so happy I got to meet you and your daughters! I look forward to booking with you guys again.”

“Pamela was such a BIG help to me and my little Schnoodle, Josie! Pamela followed all instructions perfectly and made sure Josie got the exercise and potty break she needed. I definitely recommend Pamela and look forward to her helping me again with Josie.”

About: I am someone who loves working with all breeds of dogs. I have spent my entire life around dogs and enjoy making the connection that enables me to teach them skill sets to be good companions. I have owned 3 German Shepherds and a French Mastiff and I know how to handle large dogs but my heart belongs to all dogs and I would love to care for your baby as if he/she were mine. I lost my french Mastiff, Louie, to Kidney failure but for four long months I did everything I could to try to save him. I was broken when I had to send him over the rainbow. I now have Mari who is a gentle giant that loves ALL dogs - big and small. She shares all our toys with them and loves to play with them in our 2 very large fenced in yards, Your baby will feel right at home here with Mari and me :) I only work with dogs So if I need to walk dogs, I am out for about 1 hour but I am home most of the day with the guest doggies that are here in our hotel. All dogs live in our home, they can play in 2 very large fenced in yards, have lots of toys here and can sleep on a queen bed at night
About: I am offering dog-walking & dog-sitting, services to anyone because it would be a fun, healthy outlet for me and gets me out and moving. I have cared for dogs using Rover for a few years. And have found wonderful, committed dog-care relationships through the app. ABOUT ME: My family's labrador, Abby, was definitely a motivating factor in my life. She grew up in a loving environment and was very happy and affectionate as a result for nearly 14 years (she passed of old age late 2024). Including Abby, I've grown up with labs, and have always enjoyed being active with them, whether it's playing fetch or going on long walks/ short runs. It is so fun and worth caring for dogs and I love building relationships with them. I care about the well-being of dogs and believe strongly that they need to be loved and active outside daily. I am very happy to help anyone care for their dog - by walking them or feeding them because a happier dog = a happier you! I give pets the attention and stimulation they need to be happy and healthy! Walks, playtime, pets, and socialization with other dogs :) when given the consent of dog owners. I’m currently working part-time, but have a flexible schedule during the mornings, mid-days, afternoons, late afternoons on weekdays and am more flexible on weekends (with more notice the better). All pet-sitting care will be done in your home, in your neighborhood, or other approved locations with your consent (i.e. dog park, trails, etc). I will not be offering any boarding services in my own home.
“Kaylie is amazing! She helped us out very last minute and clearly has a lot of experience with and knowledge of dogs so was able to handle our two rescues really well. She arrived exactly when she said she would each time she was scheduled to take our boys for a walk AND didn't skimp on the time she spent with them. Will absolutely recommend and definitely use her again :)”

“What a great experience! This was our first time using Rover and I landed on Melissa based on her having a fellow basset hound and professional experience dealing with animals. We have two bassets, both female, and one of those we just rescued. Needless to say they are a handful. Melissa came over the night before to meet them and check out their dynamic. She didn’t have to do this at all and it was so appreciated. She walked them he next day, kept us updated and responded fast with ANY questions. Bottom line is Melissa is a pro and will be using her for all future basset stop and smells/walks.”
About: Hi, I’m Ashlyn and I’ve always been the neighborhood animal caretaker. Whether it be cats, dogs, rats, I love them all. I’ve had fish, a mouse, a rat… my empathy and love for all animals goes above and beyond and I would be honored to care for yours! :) I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week at and the hours are very minimal. I am very flexible and will make sure your animals are completely loved and taken care of! Any job I accept will be done thoroughly and with no distractions! I will treat my client’s home with the upmost adament care. I have complete understanding that it is not my home and will follow instructions thoroughly to not make a mess or anything of the sort.
“Keira was an absolute lifesaver for our last-minute trip! She is incredibly kind, sweet, and responsive, putting my mind at ease about leaving our four cats and pitbull pup. Keira jumped right in, handled everything with ease, and took amazing care of our furry family. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

About: I have been a pet sitter on Wag for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I have pet sat for over 35 clients including walks and at home sits. I have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family and am a current pet owner myself. I own two dogs, one of which is a puppy. I have experience caring for puppies and elderly dogs in my own home and pet sitting. I also have experience working with cats and have previously owned a kitty myself. I am a college student just looking to work with my favorite animals! I absolutely adore dogs and cats and want to spend every free minute I have with them. I usually do most of my sitting on the weekends and afternoons/evenings, basically anytime I’m not in class. I have a very high energy puppy so I have lots of experience with play time and getting wiggles out. I love to stay active and always enjoy a good walk as well. I am comfortable feeding, giving medicine, crating, and cuddling with of course. I also have worked with very timid dogs and understand the importance of slow introductions and treats to help dogs feel more comfortable.
About: I have been pet sitting for at least ten years now from dogs and cats to fish and frogs, including injuries, medicines, walking, poops, and more! I love dogs and cats and wish I could have my own right now but I’m not in a place in my life where I can so I’d love to help others who do and want to share their fur-babies’ cuddles! I’m currently flexible, and not working full time right now, so I can help out whenever needed when I’m available. I also can keep dogs at my house easily and my roommates help when they can as well to ensure there is never long periods of time without going outside. I am happy to come by and let dogs out or take them on quick walks throughout the day if they are nearby. I also can house most dogs at my house with a fenced in yard and roommates to help. I have a big dog bed, and the whole downstairs to roam with bedrooms upstairs that we will keep closed off usually.
