About: I have been a pet owner of a variety of different pets almost my entire life. I love all animals and treat them with love and care as I would my own pet. I understand that a pet is part of the family and deserves to be treated as such. I am a very responsible, understanding, and caring individual and will be more than happy to follow any special requests for very special pets if needed. I am passionate about help others, I understand that although we care for our pets very much, life can tend to be busy and the day can go past without giving as much time as you would like to dedicate to we would like to towards our pets, I am here to help you with those pet responsibilites and show them the care and affection during those busy times. I’m currently working from home five days a week. With a flexible schedule I have plenty of time to care for pets. My schedule can vary throughout the week, but with notice I can adjust very easily to be able to make time for your pets. I care for pets as they are my own. I personally have a dog and a cat who are my babies. I understand that trust is a big part of taking care of other pets. I value understanding the routine and habits that you have with your pets so that way it’s basically what you would already be doing or wanting to do with your pet
“I was nervous using rover for the first time for a last minute trip, but Scott was terrific. He came for a meet and greet and C.C. took right to him. Scott was great about communicating and I loved getting the photos of my baby enjoying her walk. 100% recommend. I was at ease knowing my girl was taken care of while I was away.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the years, my family has had five dogs and two cats, and I currently help care for three dogs. Last year, I raised my own Australian Shepherd puppy, which gave me firsthand experience with puppy training, exercise routines, and daily care. In addition to caring for my own pets, I frequently walk a neighbor's dog and regularly pet sit for my parents when they travel. I also have experience assisting with Rover visits, occasionally filling in for my mom when she is unavailable. Through these experiences, I have become comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to provide the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own pets. I'm currently home for the summer while attending college, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I do work a few evening shifts at a local restaurant, but they're typically only about five hours long, and I'm home by 9:30 PM at the latest. This gives me lots of time to provide attentive care, visits, walks, playtime, and updates. I'm committed to making sure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions so they can stick to what's familiar. During every visit, I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of playtime or affection (if they want it!), and I'll always double-check that doors, gates, and windows are secure before I leave. I also love sending photo updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I grew up with Shih Tzus and have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. Most recently, I cared for our beloved Goldendoodle from her birth through age 16 wonderful years, gaining experience with every life stage—from playful puppyhood to senior care. Our family truly adores dogs, and my kids (ages 12 and 15) are pet-obsessed and gentle, attentive helpers. Your dog will be treated like part of our family, with lots of love, reliability, and trustworthiness every step of the way. I work part time and am typically available from Thursdays from 2 PM through Sunday nights. Depending on the week, my kids could be available to help out with pet care during their checkouts or if it coincides with their school routines. We live in a townhome one block from a large park/green space. My kids and I are very active and would love to walk your pup or take them to the park daily.
“Ella is incredibly awesome!!! She loves my pup so much and takes the best care of him. Ella is always reliable, always on time, provides tons of pictures and videos and gives very detailed feedback on how the walk or drop in visit was. She is super friendly and just an all around amazing pet sitter. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELLA!!!”

“Pam is amazing!! She is so loving to our dog Coco and has worked so hard with training her on the leash and has even done research on how to help her. She has gone above and beyond and we are so lucky to have her!”

About: I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and have been lucky enough to have eight dogs throughout my life. Every pet I’ve cared for has been part of the family, and that’s exactly how I’ll treat yours. My own dog, Clay, has gone through both TPLO surgery and spinal cord surgery, so I understand the patience, attention, and specialized care that recovering and special-needs pets require. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering routines, and making sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My background in law enforcement has taught me to be dependable, responsible, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a senior needing extra attention, or simply loves lots of walks and cuddles, I’ll tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, while giving you peace of mind through regular updates, photos, and communication. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine. My own pets are family, and I plan my days around making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, or simply spending quality time together, I genuinely enjoy it. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide dependable care and give pets the attention they deserve rather than rushing through visits. I understand how important consistency is, and I’ll do my best to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible while you’re away. When caring for pets in their own home, I do everything I can to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other special needs or preferences. I know pets are often most comfortable in their own environment, so I make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while respecting their individual personalities and routines. I’ll also keep your home clean, tidy, and secure, treating it with the same care and respect I would my own. Communication is very important to me, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in good hands.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and reptiles for over three years, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet and their individual personality. I have hands-on experience with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, feeding, playtime, and providing plenty of companionship while owners are away. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets and your home. I’m reliable, patient, attentive, and always happy to follow your pet’s usual routine so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather spend the evening relaxing and getting lots of cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. 🐾 My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pets are getting plenty of attention, affection, and care while they’re with me. I’m currently enrolled in a hybrid college program, with in-person classes only two days a week and the rest of my coursework completed online. This gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s usual routine, whether you need occasional care while you’re away or more regular walks and drop-in visits. My online coursework also allows me to plan my schedule around my pet care commitments. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll take the time to learn their normal routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any other care requirements you provide. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior and will always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during visits, walks, and overnight stays, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. I’ll also treat your home with care and respect and make sure everything is secure when I arrive and leave.
“Jade is absolutely amazing! Came over the day before to meet Boston. Asked questions about him and his routine that I didn’t think to consider. Super helpful last minute and is really flexible with my hectic schedule.”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, and spent four years working as a Veterinary Assistant in Wilmington and Chapel Hill. I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering patience, safety, and lots of love. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and deeply loved while you’re away. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.
“Heather was great! She helped us out on short notice, was punctual with the timing we asked for her to let our dog out, and was great with the communication and pictures. Our dog was a bit anxious and she did a great job trying to help him feel more comfortable with her.”

Ella has been fantastic with Cosmo—punctual, flexible, and really tuned in to him as an individual dog. She mixes up their walking routes, which I love because it keeps things engaging and mentally stimulating for him. It’s clear she understands different energy levels and how to work with a mixed breed’s needs. She strikes that perfect balance of being friendly and professional, and I always feel confident he’s in great hands with her.

Lauren is such a sweetheart! She came over for our first meet & greet and walk & immediately my dog loved her! We talked through all the things for Gidget & then after Lauren took her on a walk to get a feel for how Gidget is and she came back a happy pup! Looking forward to having Lauren look after my girl with full confidence that she will be treated just like family ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks.
