About: I’m currently a 19 year old undergraduate student working towards a biology degree with intentions of applying to veterinary school. I grew up in a household full of animals ranging from cats/dogs to frogs and rats. I have a lot of experience taking care of big/small dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, rats, and fish. I am also experienced with taking care of many pets at once in a single household as my house always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at a time. I have not had the opportunity to take care of animals like insects and reptiles, but I am very open and willing to learn how to do so. I pet sit regularly for my parents and for friends/acquaintances. I am experienced at accommodating the specific medical requirements that are needed for some animals like oral medication, special food, and topical creams. I am also experienced with adapting to the specific quirks and routines that all different pets/households require. I have a lot of experience looking after pets, but I also have experience with looking after houseplants too (I have many of my own). My friends and family know I will always be happy to look after any of their plants when they go on trips. Summer Availability 6/13/22 through 8/26/22 Winter Availability 11/28/22 through 12/30/22 I am home from college for my summer and winter breaks and I've included the dates for 2022. I work every weekday but I am available to do check-ins and walks before and after those shifts, and I am available to do overnight sitting jobs any day of the week as well. I also house/plant sit and I can take care of other pets you may have like ferrets or fish. During check-ins(typically 2x a day) and night stays I can feed, walk, play with, and spend time with your pets. I can administer oral medication if needed, and I can take care of any other plants/pets you may have like a hamster or fish. The more pets the merrier too, I'm very used to multitasking when it comes to pet care and play.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I will make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship.
