About: Hi! My name is Phinette! Growing up, I have always been a huge animal lover. As a child, I had three small dogs who I am so grateful I got to grow up with until they were in their late teens. My family rescued our current pit bull mix, Oakley, 6 years ago, who is now reaching his elderly years, as well as six cats! I truly love seeing the different personalities in each animal and finding out what makes them unique. I am great with high energy dogs including puppies, love being active, so I would love to help get their energy out with walks/runs! I am currently a Physical Therapist Assistant student and attend school Monday–Thursday, typically from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM. My availability will change throughout October and November, so I’ve outlined my schedule below to make it easier to see when and where I’m available! **House Sitting** **Through October 7:** I’m happy to travel farther for house sitting, especially toward the Chapel Hill/Pittsboro area since I commute there for school. **October 8–26:** I’ll have open availability and can travel to a wider area for house sitting. **October 27–November 20:** I’ll be completing clinicals in the Lillington area from approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, so I’ll primarily be looking for house sitting opportunities closer to Angier/Lillington. However, I’m happy to travel farther for longer stays! **After November 20:** I’ll have open availability throughout December and the holidays. **Dog Walks & Drop-In Visits** **Through October 7:** Available Friday–Sunday all day, as well as evenings Monday–Thursday. **October 8–26:** Open availability every day! **October 27–November 20:** Available Monday–Friday in the evenings and Saturday–Sunday all day. I’ll be completing clinicals in the Lillington area during the weekdays, so weekday requests closer to Angier/Lillington are preferred. **After November 20:** Open availability throughout December and the holidays! I know how scary it can be to have someone you don’t know stay in your home and care for your pet. That’s why it’s really important to me to build a relationship and trust with my clients, so it doesn’t feel like a stranger is in your home. I’ll make sure your pet and your home are in the best care possible while you’re away, and I have a feeling your pet and I will become best friends by the time you get back! I absolutely love sending pictures and updates, so you’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing while you’re gone! If you’re someone who doesn’t need as many updates, that’s completely fine too. I’m happy to send them as often or as little as you’d like. I also make sure to check my phone regularly while house sitting, so you’ll always be able to reach me if you need anything. I’m someone who actually loves detailed instructions because they help me make sure I’m doing everything exactly how your pet is used to. I want to keep their normal routine as much as possible while you’re away. I’m also a bit of a neat freak, so you may come home to your house looking a little cleaner than when you left it!

About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and always find myself drawn to them. As a young woman searching for my purpose, I want to spend my time doing what fulfills me. I have been pet sitting for my friend who has a dog aggressive dog, and enjoy spending the quality time with her. I will always give exceptional care and focus on forming lasting friendships with the animals in my care. Friendships that last longer than a meet and greet or drop-in visit. About: I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for the past 4 years. I have experience with both dogs and cats, and I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I currently work part-time, so my availability varies during the week. I work full days on Fridays, but outside of that I’m flexible. About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there! I ask a lot of questions so I can know and understand the specifics of what each animal needs. My primary goal is to make sure the interaction is safe, for both me and your fur baby. Then, it is my job to ensure your animal is comfortable, content, and they have a good time! I believe this can only happen by working with the owners (and then, with the fur babies).

About: I have a wonderful 1 acre backyard that is loved and cherished by all doggies, my own dogs and visiting doggie friends! Lots of wide open spaces for fetching balls or toys! I have a very flexible pet care schedule. I am at home 7 days a week and can board your dog(s) in my home for up to 2 continuous weeks, with advance notice. My backyard is safe, with a large flat open space for all types of dogs. I also have multiple outdoor decks that overlook my backyard and allows me to keep an eye on any doggie shenanigans!

About: I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 20 years. My work schedule is flexible and I work from home most days. On the days I go into the office, I am not gone for extended hours. I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time.
