About: Hi! My name is Phinette! Growing up, I have always been a huge animal lover. As a child, I had three small dogs who I am so grateful I got to grow up with until they were in their late teens. My family rescued our current pit bull mix, Oakley, 6 years ago, who is now reaching his elderly years, as well as six cats! I truly love seeing the different personalities in each animal and finding out what makes them unique. I am great with high energy dogs including puppies, love being active, so I would love to help get their energy out with walks/runs! I am currently a Physical Therapist Assistant student and attend school Monday–Thursday, typically from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM. My availability will change throughout October and November, so I’ve outlined my schedule below to make it easier to see when and where I’m available! **House Sitting** **Through October 7:** I’m happy to travel farther for house sitting, especially toward the Chapel Hill/Pittsboro area since I commute there for school. **October 8–26:** I’ll have open availability and can travel to a wider area for house sitting. **October 27–November 20:** I’ll be completing clinicals in the Lillington area from approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, so I’ll primarily be looking for house sitting opportunities closer to Angier/Lillington. However, I’m happy to travel farther for longer stays! **After November 20:** I’ll have open availability throughout December and the holidays. **Dog Walks & Drop-In Visits** **Through October 7:** Available Friday–Sunday all day, as well as evenings Monday–Thursday. **October 8–26:** Open availability every day! **October 27–November 20:** Available Monday–Friday in the evenings and Saturday–Sunday all day. I’ll be completing clinicals in the Lillington area during the weekdays, so weekday requests closer to Angier/Lillington are preferred. **After November 20:** Open availability throughout December and the holidays! I know how scary it can be to have someone you don’t know stay in your home and care for your pet. That’s why it’s really important to me to build a relationship and trust with my clients, so it doesn’t feel like a stranger is in your home. I’ll make sure your pet and your home are in the best care possible while you’re away, and I have a feeling your pet and I will become best friends by the time you get back! I absolutely love sending pictures and updates, so you’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing while you’re gone! If you’re someone who doesn’t need as many updates, that’s completely fine too. I’m happy to send them as often or as little as you’d like. I also make sure to check my phone regularly while house sitting, so you’ll always be able to reach me if you need anything. I’m someone who actually loves detailed instructions because they help me make sure I’m doing everything exactly how your pet is used to. I want to keep their normal routine as much as possible while you’re away. I’m also a bit of a neat freak, so you may come home to your house looking a little cleaner than when you left it!

About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. It would be such an honor to help get to take care of, work WITH, and get to know your little (or big) ball of fur. As an Artist/Creator, my schedule is more flexible than most people. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there! I ask a lot of questions so I can know and understand the specifics of what each animal needs. My primary goal is to make sure the interaction is safe, for both me and your fur baby. Then, it is my job to ensure your animal is comfortable, content, and they have a good time! I believe this can only happen by working with the owners (and then, with the fur babies).

About: Been watching dogs since I was in high school. My neighbors, friends and family rely on me to watch their dogs whenever they’re away on vacation anywhere from weekend trip to multiple weeks away. I’m currently working part time so, I have plenty of time to check in on your pups! Currently available Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays any time. On Saturdays anytime after 2pm Have a dog to keep your fur baby company! She’s an older dog but loves to play chase in the backyard. If needed can put pup in crate.

About: I've had dogs for over 15 years and a cat for almost 10 years and love taking care of them. I currently have 1 older cat living with me and he is very kept to himself. He's a sweet little guy who isn't bothered by other animals as long as they don't bother him! My availability is any time between classes which are scattered throughout my week. This is a small part time job I've taken for fun while going through my medical school journey so I spend most of my time studying. However, I will happily take your pet to a nice study spot! I'd also love to spend my study breaks on walks or runs with your furry baby! I am very flexible with timing and cancellations. Though I don't have professional experience, I have been around animals all my life. I'm very good at following directions and love learning new things. If the dog has special necessities, I am willing to accommodate. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a student. I often take dogs with me to quiet, dog‑friendly study spots, and I use my study breaks for walks, playtime, or runs. About: I have a wonderful 1 acre backyard that is loved and cherished by all doggies, my own dogs and visiting doggie friends! Lots of wide open spaces for fetching balls or toys! I have a very flexible pet care schedule. I am at home 7 days a week and can board your dog(s) in my home for up to 2 continuous weeks, with advance notice. My backyard is safe, with a large flat open space for all types of dogs. I also have multiple outdoor decks that overlook my backyard and allows me to keep an eye on any doggie shenanigans!

Now, I currently work at a different kennel full time as a doggy hotel crew-member. From old pups, puppies, and cats I am experienced in safety protocols and effective animal care! DAY PLAY: - Saturday - Sunday -I am available for a weekday drop off day play but the day varies week to week. BOARDING: - Friday STARTING PAST 7pm - Saturday - Sunday Dogs will have a fun & safe atmosphere to play, sleep, and eat! If you choose to drop off your pup(s) to stay overnight I have a doggy pool for them to cool off in during hot days, and they will have plenty of space to have all-day zoomies if desired! If you prefer sitter to pet sit a your home, apt. Etc. I am willing to 100% accommodate to your pup(s) schedule making sure they are able to have their normal routine and plenty of cuddles! Any allergies & medication they have will be noted and cared for appropriately. I am experienced with dog safety protocols and how to act in case of emergency.
