About: Hiya 👋 I am Kristyn and I love all things dogs! I currently have 2 of my own, Puck a 90lb hound mix and Hattie a 30lb pocket pittie who I love dearly. I spent a good chunk of my time volunteering at a local animal shelter in NY when I lived there and so I am well versed with working with all different dog personalities. I wound up adopting 2 from there, who have since passed, and had to work with them both on both stranger and dog issues. At my time at the shelter I did participate in dog training programs to help dogs get adopted and have used that within my own dog ownership with my own dogs. I went through the growing pains with my older boys so I am comfortable with seniors and have had plenty of time with puppies that I am also comfortable with them! When I first moved to NC I worked at an vet for about a year and a half as a kennel tech and vet assistant/helper. I was tasked with administering all meds to boarders and am more than comfortable doing so should your pup need!! I currently work from home 4 days a week but work right in Fuquay on the 1 day I am in the office. My son is currently in preschool 5 days a week and my daughter in daycare 2 days a week to which I am their school bus so just twice a day I have to take care of that. Otherwise more than able to walk between 9am and 3pm. But message me if times needed outside of that range and can definitely help out! I am available for in your home boarding/dog sitting as well as dog walking as needed. I prefer to keep your furbabies as much on your schedule as possible so a meet and greet is best to determine the best plan of action while out of town. Plenty of outside time or just relaxing inside as needed and time out of the crate if necessary! At this time I will not be offering in my home care but who knows it could be something I am able to do in the future!

About: I have been raised around all kinds of animals my entire life. Especially growing up with a mother who is a Vet Tech, I have seen the many different ways to care for an animal. Whether they’re young and energetic, shy and anxious, or an older pet who needs extra patience, I will adapt to each one of their needs. Since I am primarily an elementary school teacher, I highly value communication. If you book with me, please expect to get regular updates and pictures of your fur babies while you’re away. I will make sure to treat each one of your pets as if they are my own! I am a teacher so my summers are always very open. With that being said, throughout the week I am very open and on the weekends I will still be available but just not as much. I will always ensure an easy and calming first introduction to your pets so we can start off on a good foot. And in reality, that doesn’t always happen, so I will always remain patient with those who need it because eventually they will warm up to me.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young till now with my two dogs, and two cats. I love to hike and walk with my dogs. They also love playing ball or chasing toys around in home. Cats are older now so they just want love and pets. I work full-time but that doesn’t stop me from having time to make sure our animals get play and care when I get home. I’m available weekends or after 5 pm for any care for your animal :) I have two dogs that are dog friendly and a crate if needed. I have a park right across the street to have long walks or play in grass or they even have a dog park.

Through caring for my own dogs after surgical procedures, I have become familiar with managing bandages, monitoring wounds, using cones, and following recovery instructions to help pets heal safely. I work full-time in Fuquay-Varina with a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate many pet care needs throughout the week. For drop-in visits and walks, I am typically available before work, during breaks (for pets located near my office), and in the evenings after work. My days often start early and end later in the evening, giving me additional flexibility compared to a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. On weekends, my availability is much more open, allowing me to spend extended time with your pets rather than just brief visits. I always do my best to work with each pet owner's schedule and ensure their pets receive reliable, attentive care. I am happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I offer drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of attention and companionship while you're away. At this time, I do not offer boarding or pet care in my own home. I find that many pets are most comfortable in their own space, and I enjoy providing care where they feel safe and secure. My goal is to ensure your pets receive dependable, loving care and that you have peace of mind while you're away.

I’m organized and communicate clearly, so pet owners can always feel confident that their pet’s routine will be followed closely. Overall, I see pet care as something I can seamlessly build into my week because I enjoy it and I’m intentional about managing my time well. I treat their space and their pets with the same respect and love I would in my own home. I follow any instructions carefully, whether it’s feeding schedules, potty routines, or special needs, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I keep their routine as normal as possible with walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles. I also keep the home tidy, send regular updates and photos, and make sure everything is just as you left it. My goal is to give your pet comfort and you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: I have always had a love for animals. I worked in a kennel for 11 years. Got my first puppy at 14. I feed, medicate, walk and love all my animals. I am 100% a responsible person. I have two dogs, three cats and fish of my own. I have fostered many kittens including bottle fed them just hours old. I have some basic medical knowledge. My schedule is pretty open all summer until mid-late August. I am willing to book in advance or consider last minute needs. I am used to a schedule involving taking care of my pets daily. I follow instructions well. I am a visual person so written instructions are a must. I have lots of time and love to give to your family member(s).

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, but about 5 years ago I officially started working in the pet care industry... and honestly, it’s been the best job ever. I absolutely love dogs of all ages, from wild little puppies with zoomies to sweet senior pups who just want cuddles and company. I truly believe pets are family (basically furry children), and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pet wants nonstop playtime, a walking buddy, couch snuggles, or just someone patient and loving while you’re away, I’m happy to be their temporary fun aunt 🐾 I decided to take a break from working full-time so I could go back to school and work part-time instead. Since I’ll be doing school from home with a flexible schedule, I’m available to spend as much time as needed with your baby! I own a home with about a 0.5 acre fenced in yard. I have a personal dog in my home, she is great at keeping company. If you would prefer your pup have crate time or sleep in a crate, just let me know! Otherwise, we are big fans of puppy cuddles and allow them on our furniture!

About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there!
