About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. About: Growing up we had dogs and lived them all. Got on my own I had a total of 3 dogs and thought I would not have a cat but did and would not have traded her for nothing. Did pet sitting for an older small dog and all went well. Have raised 2 dogs from puppies and one was easy and the other not. I just love animals large or small and right now I'm without any animals. So to be able to take care of and play with dogs of different sizes would be awesome. Dogs and cats are so unique and they make my day and make me smile. Currently I'm retired and take my walks around the pond and feed the ducks as well Currently have some activities at church on Monday morning. Otherwise a doctor's appointment. My time is pretty flexible except for Sunday for church, My animals are always treated like family. They are not meant to be tied up outside either. I feed them well and of course some treats. My philosophy is they can sleep anywhere they want, including my bed. There should be a bed for the dog or cat in more.than one room. Do my best to keep them safe from hazards just like a child.

About: I work with pets and wild animals for a living full time. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are my days off where I would like to offer boarding, daycare or drop in visits for your fur babies. I also have experience as a vet tech and am able to take care of medical special needs and senior dogs. Drop off and pick up for daycare: any time Drop off for boarding: Tuesdays any time after 7 pm Wed, Thu, Fri: any time Pick up from boarding: Wed, Thu, Fri: any time Saturday: no later than 7 am please, because I have to go to work I have a fully fenced large yard to run and play, a little puppy pool for hot days in summer, and plenty of toys and balls and treats available. The fence is 4ft high. You do not need to bring your own crate, blankets or bowls, I have plenty in different sizes, unless you would like to. I own 2 friendly dogs that get along with other all dogs, no matter how big or small, old or young. I also volunteer for dog rescues. So I usually also have 1 friendly foster dog.

About: We're conveniently located just off of hwy 401 and near I-95 and I-40. I've always had family pets since I was the age of 2. I've cared for all ages of dogs and cats. I've been a midwife to many previous cats, bottle fed, watched live births of pups, and administered oral medications. I am always available for play time and snuggle time. I currently work part-time and am only away for 6 hours during the day. During this time my husband or my teen are usually home for part of that time. It's perfect because our pets aren't left all alone for very long. I have 2 dogs, one is playful and one is very relaxed. They have been around other dogs a number of times and loves playing at the dog park. They are friendly. At night our dogs are able to go upstairs and sleep in our room. During your pups stay, they are welcome to sleep anywhere in the house. We have a spare room downstairs that I'm happy to stay in if they need that (my dogs take up our whole bed upstairs). If your pup is crate trained and prefers their crate, I suggest you bring it for their stay so they can feel more at home.

About: Hiya 👋 I am Kristyn and I love all things dogs! I currently have 2 of my own, Puck a 90lb hound mix and Hattie a 30lb pocket pittie who I love dearly. I spent a good chunk of my time volunteering at a local animal shelter in NY when I lived there and so I am well versed with working with all different dog personalities. I wound up adopting 2 from there, who have since passed, and had to work with them both on both stranger and dog issues. At my time at the shelter I did participate in dog training programs to help dogs get adopted and have used that within my own dog ownership with my own dogs. I went through the growing pains with my older boys so I am comfortable with seniors and have had plenty of time with puppies that I am also comfortable with them! When I first moved to NC I worked at an vet for about a year and a half as a kennel tech and vet assistant/helper. I was tasked with administering all meds to boarders and am more than comfortable doing so should your pup need!! I currently work from home 4 days a week but work right in Fuquay on the 1 day I am in the office. My son is currently in preschool 5 days a week and my daughter in daycare 2 days a week to which I am their school bus so just twice a day I have to take care of that. Otherwise more than able to walk between 9am and 3pm. But message me if times needed outside of that range and can definitely help out! I am available for in your home boarding/dog sitting as well as dog walking as needed. I prefer to keep your furbabies as much on your schedule as possible so a meet and greet is best to determine the best plan of action while out of town. Plenty of outside time or just relaxing inside as needed and time out of the crate if necessary! At this time I will not be offering in my home care but who knows it could be something I am able to do in the future!

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, but about 5 years ago I officially started working in the pet care industry... and honestly, it’s been the best job ever. I absolutely love dogs of all ages, from wild little puppies with zoomies to sweet senior pups who just want cuddles and company. About: My family and friends refer to me as the Pet Whisperer who spoils the fur babies like crazy. This past year both of my fur babies crossed the rainbow bridge so I’ve got lots of extra love, hugs and pets for your babies. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. It would be such an honor to help get to take care of, work WITH, and get to know your little (or big) ball of fur. As an Artist/Creator, my schedule is more flexible than most people. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there! I ask a lot of questions so I can know and understand the specifics of what each animal needs. My primary goal is to make sure the interaction is safe, for both me and your fur baby. Then, it is my job to ensure your animal is comfortable, content, and they have a good time! I believe this can only happen by working with the owners (and then, with the fur babies).
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life—often caring for more than one at a time—so daily routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and recognizing behavior patterns are second nature to me. I also have experience caring for cats and small animals, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I’m very detail-oriented and take the time to follow your pet’s routine closely, whether that’s specific feeding instructions, medication schedules, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys and habits. I understand that consistency is what helps pets feel safe and at ease, especially when their owners are away. You can expect thoughtful, reliable care and consistent updates so you always know how your pet is doing. As a teacher, I have expanded availability during the summer and can take on additional bookings during that time. Currently, I offer evening and weekend availability and do my best to accommodate schedules with advance notice. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog in my home who gets along well with others; however, I always introduce pets gradually and will keep my dog separated or crated as needed until everyone is fully comfortable. Pets in my care receive regular leash walks, plenty of playtime, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I follow all routines and instructions closely and am happy to accommodate any specific requests to make sure your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for.
