If you choose to drop off your pup(s) to stay overnight I have a doggy pool for them to cool off in during hot days, and they will have plenty of space to have all-day zoomies if desired! If you prefer sitter to pet sit a your home, apt. Etc. I am willing to 100% accommodate to your pup(s) schedule making sure they are able to have their normal routine and plenty of cuddles! Any allergies & medication they have will be noted and cared for appropriately. I am experienced with dog safety protocols and how to act in case of emergency.

About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: Hi! My name is Phinette! Growing up, I have always been a huge animal lover. As a child, I had three small dogs who I am so grateful I got to grow up with until they were in their late teens. My family rescued our current pit bull mix, Oakley, 6 years ago, who is now reaching his elderly years, as well as six cats! My availability will change throughout October and November, so I’ve outlined my schedule below to make it easier to see when and where I’m available! **House Sitting** **Through October 7:** I’m happy to travel farther for house sitting, especially toward the Chapel Hill/Pittsboro area since I commute there for school. **October 8–26:** I’ll have open availability and can travel to a wider area for house sitting. **October 27–November 20:** I’ll be completing clinicals in the Lillington area from approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, so I’ll primarily be looking for house sitting opportunities closer to Angier/Lillington. However, I’m happy to travel farther for longer stays! **After November 20:** I’ll have open availability throughout December and the holidays. **Dog Walks & Drop-In Visits** **Through October 7:** Available Friday–Sunday all day, as well as evenings Monday–Thursday. **October 8–26:** Open availability every day! **October 27–November 20:** Available Monday–Friday in the evenings and Saturday–Sunday all day. I’m someone who actually loves detailed instructions because they help me make sure I’m doing everything exactly how your pet is used to. I want to keep their normal routine as much as possible while you’re away. I’m also a bit of a neat freak, so you may come home to your house looking a little cleaner than when you left it!
