About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both a senior dog and a high-energy Golden Retriever puppy. This has taught me how to balance gentle, patient care with active play, training support, and consistent routines to meet each dog’s unique needs. I work from home so I’ll be home with the pups all day long! I’m able to take them out as needed throughout the day and can feed them or provide any other individual care they may need! My home is pet-safe with an indoor gate for added security, and I provide regular, supervised potty breaks to ensure pets stay comfortable, safe, and well cared for.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for the past 4 years. I have experience with both dogs and cats, and I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I currently work part-time, so my availability varies during the week. I work full days on Fridays, but outside of that I’m flexible. I always follow your care instructions, keep a clean and secure environment, and make sure pets have fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of love.

About: I've never lived without having a pet. Dogs, cats, reptiles, bunnies and guinea pigs have brought enormous amounts of joy and love to my life. Each pet still has a special place in my heart, and I care for others pets as if they were my own. Pets are family! I work part-time and would love to meet and care for your pets in my free time! I currently have a puppy and 2 cats of my own. My puppy (Duck) was being rehomed by a family that discovered their son is allergic to dogs, and I couldn't resist his sweet face. My orange cat (Goose) was taken in after my daughter's friend's cat had kittens, and my big black cat (Apache) was adopted from the Right Meow cat cafe in Fuquay. My apartment has a dog park, which i go to 1-2 times a day with my puppy, Duck. I've taught him how to use the agility equipment, and he always loves to play between sniff sessions. My cats are big cuddle babies, but also like their space at times, so their requests for personal space (and treats) is always respected.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life—often caring for more than one at a time—so daily routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and recognizing behavior patterns are second nature to me. I also have experience caring for cats and small animals, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I’m very detail-oriented and take the time to follow your pet’s routine closely, whether that’s specific feeding instructions, medication schedules, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys and habits. I understand that consistency is what helps pets feel safe and at ease, especially when their owners are away. You can expect thoughtful, reliable care and consistent updates so you always know how your pet is doing. As a teacher, I have expanded availability during the summer and can take on additional bookings during that time. Currently, I offer evening and weekend availability and do my best to accommodate schedules with advance notice. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog in my home who gets along well with others; however, I always introduce pets gradually and will keep my dog separated or crated as needed until everyone is fully comfortable. Pets in my care receive regular leash walks, plenty of playtime, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I follow all routines and instructions closely and am happy to accommodate any specific requests to make sure your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for.

About: I have had pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters, which has given me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. I have also watched my neighbors' dogs for the past six years, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. In addition, I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand the importance of providing pets with attention, exercise, patience, and loving care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, and my kids are in school during the day, which gives me plenty of free time to care for pets. After dropping my kids off at school, I'm generally available from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets attention and companionship. While I do pick my kids up from school and attend some after-school activities, I have a flexible schedule and can provide dependable, loving care throughout the day. In my home, I care for a two-year-old Goldendoodle, a pink toe tarantula, and fish, so I'm experience with caring for different of pets and their individual needs. My dog gets daily walks, is fed twice a day, and enjoys treats, regular grooming, and plenty of playtime both indoors and outdoors. I make sure all of my pets receive lots of attention, exercise, and loving care every day. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normals routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and safe. I have watched my neighbor's' dogs on many occasions while they were on vacation or away for weekends. During those times, I visited their home about four times a day to walk, feed, play with, and give attention to their dogs. I also cared for their fish by feeding them and checking on them during each visit. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are being cared for with patience, reliability, and love.

About: I’ve worked with several different dog breeds that vary in temperament for over 10 years. I do my best to ensure that each dog is comfortable and relaxed during their stay. My home has an open yard but I take most of the dogs to a dog park near by. My dog Casper is very sweet and loves to play. He will definitely keep your fur baby company. I currently work full time however, I do work from home. Their care routine will align with my dog’s unless a specific routine is needed. I will provide pictures, videos and/or update messages to you throughout your pet’s stay. If any issues arise I will be sure to notify you as soon as possible.

About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. It would be such an honor to help get to take care of, work WITH, and get to know your little (or big) ball of fur. As an Artist/Creator, my schedule is more flexible than most people. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there! I ask a lot of questions so I can know and understand the specifics of what each animal needs. My primary goal is to make sure the interaction is safe, for both me and your fur baby. Then, it is my job to ensure your animal is comfortable, content, and they have a good time! I believe this can only happen by working with the owners (and then, with the fur babies).

About: I have a wonderful 1 acre backyard that is loved and cherished by all doggies, my own dogs and visiting doggie friends! Lots of wide open spaces for fetching balls or toys! I have a very flexible pet care schedule. I am at home 7 days a week and can board your dog(s) in my home for up to 2 continuous weeks, with advance notice. My backyard is safe, with a large flat open space for all types of dogs. I also have multiple outdoor decks that overlook my backyard and allows me to keep an eye on any doggie shenanigans!

About: I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I take pride in providing the best care possible, being fully present to an animal and their needs, and providing the peace of mind to you that I would want when away from my pets. With pets of my own, I know what it is like to find someone who you truly trust and feel comfortable with - I hope to be that person. I have a flexible hybrid telework schedule that allows me to be available for care-taking around your pets' schedule needs. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and instructions. As for house-sitting, my husband takes care of all our animals so that I can be fully present to stay with yours! I am open and honest and will be available for any more information you would like to know! Thanks for considering me to take care of your precious friends. My work schedule is flexible and I work from home most days. On the days I go into the office, I am not gone for extended hours. I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time.
