About: Hiya 👋 I am Kristyn and I love all things dogs! I currently have 2 of my own, Puck a 90lb hound mix and Hattie a 30lb pocket pittie who I love dearly. I spent a good chunk of my time volunteering at a local animal shelter in NY when I lived there and so I am well versed with working with all different dog personalities. I wound up adopting 2 from there, who have since passed, and had to work with them both on both stranger and dog issues. At my time at the shelter I did participate in dog training programs to help dogs get adopted and have used that within my own dog ownership with my own dogs. I went through the growing pains with my older boys so I am comfortable with seniors and have had plenty of time with puppies that I am also comfortable with them! When I first moved to NC I worked at an vet for about a year and a half as a kennel tech and vet assistant/helper. I was tasked with administering all meds to boarders and am more than comfortable doing so should your pup need!! I currently work from home 4 days a week but work right in Fuquay on the 1 day I am in the office. My son is currently in preschool 5 days a week and my daughter in daycare 2 days a week to which I am their school bus so just twice a day I have to take care of that. Otherwise more than able to walk between 9am and 3pm. But message me if times needed outside of that range and can definitely help out! I am available for in your home boarding/dog sitting as well as dog walking as needed. I prefer to keep your furbabies as much on your schedule as possible so a meet and greet is best to determine the best plan of action while out of town. Plenty of outside time or just relaxing inside as needed and time out of the crate if necessary! At this time I will not be offering in my home care but who knows it could be something I am able to do in the future!

About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. It would be such an honor to help get to take care of, work WITH, and get to know your little (or big) ball of fur. As an Artist/Creator, my schedule is more flexible than most people. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there! I ask a lot of questions so I can know and understand the specifics of what each animal needs. My primary goal is to make sure the interaction is safe, for both me and your fur baby. Then, it is my job to ensure your animal is comfortable, content, and they have a good time! I believe this can only happen by working with the owners (and then, with the fur babies).

About: I have always had a love for animals. I worked in a kennel for 11 years. Got my first puppy at 14. I feed, medicate, walk and love all my animals. I am 100% a responsible person. I have two dogs, three cats and fish of my own. I have fostered many kittens including bottle fed them just hours old. I have some basic medical knowledge. My schedule is pretty open all summer until mid-late August. I am willing to book in advance or consider last minute needs. I am used to a schedule involving taking care of my pets daily. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time. About: I work from home, which makes it easy for me to care for your pets and give them the attention they deserve. My work from home schedule also allows for me to have flexible availability for drop-ins and walks during the work day. I have one dog, Jippy, who is basically a goofy teddy bear. He spends a lot of time with other dogs and loves having fur friends around. I love animals and can promise yours will be in good hands with me. Feel free to send me a message with any questions! About: I have a wonderful 1 acre backyard that is loved and cherished by all doggies, my own dogs and visiting doggie friends! Lots of wide open spaces for fetching balls or toys! I have a very flexible pet care schedule. I am at home 7 days a week and can board your dog(s) in my home for up to 2 continuous weeks, with advance notice. My backyard is safe, with a large flat open space for all types of dogs. I also have multiple outdoor decks that overlook my backyard and allows me to keep an eye on any doggie shenanigans!
