About: I've had animals since I was born and spent my early years stealing the dog bed from our dalmation, Pepper. I began a dog walking service when I was 9 and provided regular walks, visits, and overnight care during college. I'm patient, friendly, and generally liked by all dogs I encounter. Cats usually love me, too, although knowing cats, I don't take it personally if they keep their distance. I often think about how bored some animals must get while we all work on a computer or watch TV. When I walk my dog, I make sure to let her sniff as long as she needs so we can get the interaction and stimulation with her environment that she needs. I try to be empathetic and imagine the emotions animals must feel in their interactions with us, so I just try to treat them as kindly as I would want to be treated in their situation.
