“Kim is the best dog walker/sitter we could have ever asked for! She went above and beyond for our pup, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Pamela was such a BIG help to me and my little Schnoodle, Josie! Pamela followed all instructions perfectly and made sure Josie got the exercise and potty break she needed. I definitely recommend Pamela and look forward to her helping me again with Josie.”

“I was nervous using rover for the first time for a last minute trip, but Scott was terrific. He came for a meet and greet and C.C. took right to him. Scott was great about communicating and I loved getting the photos of my baby enjoying her walk. 100% recommend. I was at ease knowing my girl was taken care of while I was away.”

“Rosemary is an amazing walker! She always stays the full time and she walks my dog really far. I really appreciate her and she sends photos and videos. My dog and cats love her! Thank you Rosemary!”

“Very happy with Sam walking my dog. He’s been fantastic with my dog, taking him on runs instead of just walks, which is perfect for my high energy pup. He’s super friendly, reliable, and always available when I need him. My dog comes back happy and tired every time! Couldn’t ask for a better walker—highly recommend!”

“Laura was great! We need help walking our energetic 50 lb 8 month mix breed pit shepherd (Fozzy) for 7 days straight at 7:30 am. Laura was on time every day and she even played some fetch with him at the end of the walk.”

About: I have taken care of & walked dogs of all sizes since I was 14 in my childhood neighborhood. Now 24, having had many animals of my own, I understand the unique needs of each animal and am dedicated to customizing my service to your pup or kitty! I work full time, but remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I am able to work my schedule around visiting and playing with your pups. Though I can’t care for pets in my own home (allergic roommates), I would be happy to do so in your home. I would love to visit ahead of time to acclimate your pup/cat to me and establish trust.
“Stephanie was such a sweetheart to my girl, Blue :) she was always on time and even walked her a little longer than the 30 mins. I can tell Blue felt comfortable with her and I felt comfortable leaving her in Stephanie’s care. Will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Ella took amazing care of Muffin with so much love, attention, and responsibility. From the very beginning, it was clear how caring and dedicated she was. Muffin was happy, calm, and very well looked after the entire time. I highly recommend her and would absolutely trust her with Muffin again! 🧁🐶💛”

“Our dogs absolutely LOVE Abby! They run out to her car wagging their tails every time she comes to walk them. Couldn’t have found someone better to care for my our little fur babes!”

About: Hello! I’d love to meet your furry best friend! ⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄ 𑣲 I’ve grown up with dogs I currently have two, and also spent the past two years working with all types of dogs. I have experience in an animal hospital, where I helped rehabilitate dogs after procedures. 𑣲 I currently am a student and am working part time at a coffee shop, so my schedule is super flexible and I can do last minute work. 𑣲 I’ve worked with all types of dogs and can safely handle a wide range of temperaments while following your instructions while maintaining and respecting your home.
“Jade is absolutely amazing! Came over the day before to meet Boston. Asked questions about him and his routine that I didn’t think to consider. Super helpful last minute and is really flexible with my hectic schedule.”

About: My husband and I grew up with dogs, and our kids are great at playing gently with animals....so we are opening our home (with a fenced in yard) to take great care of your sweet furry friend while you're away. We don't have any dogs or cats of our own; we will treat yours like our own and include them in our family life while they’re here. We have a fenced yard and no other furry pets to compete for attention. We can walk your dog in our quiet neighborhood, and they’ll have plenty of space to relax in our house too. Our only pet is a small, nonvenomous corn snake who stays in his terrarium all the time, behind closed doors if needed. We are trusting you to be honest up front about your pet's needs and behavior so we can all have the best experience. Let’s do an in person meet & greet to make sure it’s a good fit! We work from home & hybrid so it’s normal to have one or both of us home during the whole work day. The kids have school & activities that we take turns driving them back and forth to - typical family life that we just integrate our dog friends into while giving them attention & walks along the way. We board pets in our home when we are available and know we are going to be home a good amount of the time. We go out in the backyard with them. Note that our house has stairs.
About: I have taken care of animals off and on since I was seven years old. I love animals and have had many - in my childhood home I have three dogs and two cats. I have one cat right now but I plan on getting more animals in the future. I love large dogs to tiny ones. Because of my schedule I cannot have a dog of my own - which is why I would love to care for yours when you are busy. This is my way of having a dog when I can't due to school and other responsibilities. It is the closest I can get right now so I would be honored to care for your furry family members. I work from home and my work schedule is flexible so I have the ability to decide when I work and when I do not work. I would love to keep your furry companion company, I have not lived with dogs in a couple of years and I do miss it so they will have my complete attention.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have never not had a dog in my home. I started watching dogs for my neighbors 10 years ago and have loved it ever since. I've done overnight stays and daily house visits and I'm constantly watching pets! I am openly available during the summer all week and weekend. I am a sophomore at the University of South Carolina majoring in media arts. So my schedule changes with my classes. I enjoy dog sitting and love to do it to make some extra cash while looking for a more permanent job. I’d love to play and cuddle with your pets! Let me know if I can help you out, and I hope to hear from you soon!
“What a great experience! This was our first time using Rover and I landed on Melissa based on her having a fellow basset hound and professional experience dealing with animals. We have two bassets, both female, and one of those we just rescued. Needless to say they are a handful. Melissa came over the night before to meet them and check out their dynamic. She didn’t have to do this at all and it was so appreciated. She walked them he next day, kept us updated and responded fast with ANY questions. Bottom line is Melissa is a pro and will be using her for all future basset stop and smells/walks.”

Apex dog parents share their Rover experiences
First time using Rover and I could not have picked anyone better than Karen. She offered a Meet & Greet before our 3 day dog walk booking. She was prompt within the requested walk timeframe, provided a re-cap of the walk adventure and sent fun photos. I felt completely comfortable and at ease with her spending time with Rigby while I was unable to be there. She went completely above and beyond by grabbing my mail and pulling the trash cans back to the house. I highly recommend Karen to step in to fill your pet care needs! Can’t wait for Rigby to have you walk him again soon!
