A typical day
A typical visit is centered around your pet’s normal routine. I start by checking in on their overall well-being, then handle feeding, fresh water, and any medications if needed. For dogs, this usually includes a walk or potty break, followed by playtime or enrichment based on their energy level. For cats and other pets, I focus on interaction, stimulation, and maintaining their usual habits. I always take time to give your pet attention and affection so they feel comfortable and not alone while you’re away. Before leaving, I make sure everything is clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. You’ll receive a detailed update with photos after each visit!

Trusted full-time pet care provider with 1,000+ Rover bookings, 186 clients, and 99 repeat clients since 2016. I have experience caring for a wide range of pets including puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, anxious pets, and those who require extra patience and structure. I am comfortable with multi-pet households and detailed care routines. My experience includes: • Oral medications, ointments, and special care routines • Senior and special-needs pets • Deaf/blind pets, seizure-prone pets, and handicapped animals • Reactive dogs and leash pullers (size/handling dependent for safety) In 2019, I completed an internship with Paws4People at UNCW, assisting with service dog training, puppy development, and working dog recertification. I have also cared for a variety of other animals including birds, reptiles, fish, goats, chickens, ducks, rodents, and more. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
