About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for my own senior pup has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with routines, gentle handling, medication reminders, and giving pets the extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I am also continuously improving my skills as a sitter—I take my dog to training classes and apply those lessons to the pets I care for. This has helped me learn about positive reinforcement, building trust, and managing different personalities and energy levels. Indoors, your dog will always be kept in a secure, calm environment. I never leave pets unattended, and I follow your preferred routines for feeding, bathroom breaks, and leash handling. About: I have two doggies of my own. Both of them are senior dogs with young hearts, and they are still very active. My experience comes from being a dog owner. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. During the week, I work from home, which makes caring for my dogs easier. I’m able to walk them, feed them, and play with them during my breaks. My weekends are free, which gives me extra flexibility for longer walks, additional playtime, grooming, and any extra care they may need. It also allows me to spend more quality time with them and make sure they stay active, happy, and comfortable. I have two senior dogs who love going for walks and visiting the dog park. Both of them also enjoy going on car rides. They are definitely very spoiled.

About: I take care of family friend's dogs, family’s dogs and neighbors dogs. I have 2 very well trained dogs that could possibly help if training is needed! I currently do not have a job and only have 2 classes at school, so I will be able to take great care of your pups! I have an unfenced in yard but, more than willing to take the pups out on a leash or even to the dog park. I have 2 of my own dogs that are very sweet and love other dogs!

About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

About: I have always loved taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. I have worked as a kennel technician at The Biscuit Garden for about 2 years, and have fallen in love with providing special care towards furry friends. There, I create safe play groups, feed, walk, play, and of course, clean! I will make sure to pay close attention to any special needs your pet may have. I have 2 dogs of my own, Luna (labradoodle), who I have trained since she was a puppy, and Lacy (French Bulldog), who I am currently training (she is 5 months old). Although I do not have professional training experience, I will say I put all my patience into providing simple tasks that can better your dogs skills. Whether if it’s during walks, crate time, or a simple sit and stay, I will provide my best efforts for your pup to succeed in these things. Along with training, I always make sure to spend quality time with my puppies because we are what’s most important to them. I believe playtime is very important to keeping a dog young and healthy! In any clients home, I make sure to spend as much quality time with the clients dog to build a strong connection.

About: Hi! Paxton here- I’m probably the one you’ll be speaking to most of the time. My husband Javari is always around to help with your dog’s care too! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. Our 8 year old girl we recently lost to cancer was javari’s first experience. But he’s amazing nonetheless. While we have little experience pet sitting other dogs than our own, we certainly know all the ins and outs for providing the best love and care for your pup. Our hearts are not ready for another pup just yet, we would love to share that love with your dog! We are comfortable with puppies and also have a fenced in backyard and a great walking neighborhood. We hope you’ll consider us to love your pups while you’re away! I am a server working mostly evenings. While my shifts tend to be around 7 hours, my fiancé works out of the house from 8-5, and will be home during the evening hours to assist with potty breaks, walks and meals. Occasionally our days line up where we are both out of the house at once, but it’s rare, and we’ll plan accordingly. We have a fenced-in backyard in a quiet neighborhood away from a main road. While my dog enjoyed her time outside, she was rarely unsupervised for more than a few minutes. We would also implement this with your pup too! Our neighborhood is very safe and pet friendly, which we love!

I am currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible and can usually accommodate the schedule your furry family member is used to for food, walks, and lots of love. “What a great experience! This was our first time using Rover and I landed on Melissa based on her having a fellow basset hound and professional experience dealing with animals. We have two bassets, both female, and one of those we just rescued. Needless to say they are a handful. Melissa came over the night before to meet them and check out their dynamic. She didn’t have to do this at all and it was so appreciated. She walked them he next day, kept us updated and responded fast with ANY questions. I used to work 12 hours a day, three to four days a week and my dogs laid around for those hours not being simulated mentally or physically and it showed.
