About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, and spent four years working as a Veterinary Assistant in Wilmington and Chapel Hill. I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering patience, safety, and lots of love. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and deeply loved while you’re away. I currently work from home running a small business. I do not work every day. I am flexible and available to help you out when needed. I have a Labrador Retriever and two senior, friendly domestic shorthair cats of my own. While you’re away, I care for your pets as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs. I like to keep a log for you on how they did and how things went for our time together. We have a nice sized home to accommodate your furry friend. Pets are allowed upstairs. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. We have a large, fenced back yard for those pups that like to sunbathe or sniff around during the day! I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.

About: I have two doggies of my own. Both of them are senior dogs with young hearts, and they are still very active. My experience comes from being a dog owner. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. During the week, I work from home, which makes caring for my dogs easier. I’m able to walk them, feed them, and play with them during my breaks. My weekends are free, which gives me extra flexibility for longer walks, additional playtime, grooming, and any extra care they may need. It also allows me to spend more quality time with them and make sure they stay active, happy, and comfortable. I have two senior dogs who love going for walks and visiting the dog park. Both of them also enjoy going on car rides. They are definitely very spoiled.

About: I have cared for pets my entire life, as I have grown up surrounded by them. I have extensive knowledge about their care and also possess basic veterinary knowledge. In addition to giving them baths, I know how to trim their nails and, on some occasions, I can also groom their hair. I can adjust to the care schedule that best fits your needs. I believe it’s especially beneficial for your pet to go for a walk in the morning and in the evening, since those are times when they often have the most energy. I also find it very important to dedicate around 30 minutes exclusively to training, to help develop their learning skills and overall growth. Depending on the owner’s preferences, different activities and moments with the pet can be planned. For example, if it’s a pet that can only stay indoors, I would likely focus on indoor activities and spend plenty of quality time with them. On the other hand, if outdoor activities like walks or trips to the park are possible, I can easily adapt, as I love walking and believe it’s important to let pets safely explore their surroundings. That’s why I consider it very valuable to give pets the opportunity to go outside and enjoy the world.

About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

About: I have always loved taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. I have worked as a kennel technician at The Biscuit Garden for about 2 years, and have fallen in love with providing special care towards furry friends. There, I create safe play groups, feed, walk, play, and of course, clean! I will make sure to pay close attention to any special needs your pet may have. Accommodating to your dogs energy level, temperament, age, and health is very important to me. I will ensure to pay very close attention to any issues or concerns I may see while spending time with your pup. I believe maintaining a clean and tidy environment is important to an animals health. Now that it is summer, I have a ton more availability when I am not working. I work about 20 hours a week, mostly in the afternoons, so my mornings are typically more free. I have 2 dogs of my own, Luna (labradoodle), who I have trained since she was a puppy, and Lacy (French Bulldog), who I am currently training (she is 5 months old). Although I do not have professional training experience, I will say I put all my patience into providing simple tasks that can better your dogs skills. Whether if it’s during walks, crate time, or a simple sit and stay, I will provide my best efforts for your pup to succeed in these things. Along with training, I always make sure to spend quality time with my puppies because we are what’s most important to them. I believe playtime is very important to keeping a dog young and healthy! In any clients home, I make sure to spend as much quality time with the clients dog to build a strong connection.
