“Emma has been an absolute blessing. From day one, it was clear how much she genuinely love animals. She is dependable, communicative, and go above and beyond every single time. Our pups get so excited when she arrives-which says everything. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our dog is not only getting exercise, but also love, attention, and exceptional care. Finding someone you trust with your fur baby is priceless, and we truly hit the jackpot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and professional!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, and spent four years working as a Veterinary Assistant in Wilmington and Chapel Hill. I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering patience, safety, and lots of love. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and deeply loved while you’re away. I currently work from home running a small business. I do not work every day. I am flexible and available to help you out when needed. I have a Labrador Retriever and two senior, friendly domestic shorthair cats of my own. While you’re away, I care for your pets as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs. I like to keep a log for you on how they did and how things went for our time together. We have a nice sized home to accommodate your furry friend. Pets are allowed upstairs. We are happy to have your baby sleep on his or her bed in our room at night, or a crate if that’s what they are used to. Please supply your pet’s favorite bed or crate. Pets are allowed on the couch. We have a large, fenced back yard for those pups that like to sunbathe or sniff around during the day! I focus on calm, gentle care, plenty of affection (when welcomed), and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly so you have peace of mind. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and special needs pets through vet time experience and personal experience.

“Kaylie was amazing with my pup. My pup did so great with her that I have even asked Kaylie for future dates. If you want someone who will care for your dog like they are her own, please reach out to Kaylie.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. I’ll be able to devote my time and attention to your pets as you need me to. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.

About: Hello! My name is Cassidy, and I have a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I grew up with German Shepherds and cats and have spent many years caring for a wide variety of pets. I currently have four cats and a German Shepherd–Husky mix of my own. I have experience training young puppies as well as providing attentive care for senior dogs, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and compassion at every stage of a pet’s life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. I currently am not working so I have open availability! I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 2-3:30 so this is the only time I am not available. I am very willing and able to work based on your needs! I currently live in a apartment building and I have a kitten who is 6 months old! I make sure to stick to a consistent feeding schedule as well as a play schedule with him to ensure he gets the exercise and enrichment he needs!
“Jennifer was amazing and such a huge help for us during a really unpredictable time while we were waiting for the arrival of our son. She was kind enough to stay on standby for drop-in visits with our dog, and the day we got admitted to the hospital she was incredibly easy to get ahold of, accommodating, and flexible. She sent us tons of updates and pictures which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was very clear our dog felt comfortable and happy with her, and that meant everything to us. We’re so grateful for her help and will absolutely be using her again in the future!”

“Amber took excellent care of our doggos while we were away for the weekend. I loved that she sent several updates and pics. Will definitely book again in the future!”

“We loved have Kaitlyn check in on our cat while we were away. Always made sure to give him love with pats or treats depending on if he wanted to come out from hiding when she stopped by. We’ll definitely use her again in the future!”

Wilbon cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kristina did a wonderful job taking care of our boys. She was very communicative, took lots of pictures/videos, and completed all tasks. She went out of her way to try to get our scared boy to become more comfortable with her. We would hire Kristina for future trips!

My wife and I were amazed of the quality care John gave our cat Buki. I believe she was definitely given a very posh time in those short three days, and would truly recommend his drop ins again for she was very delighted that he spent that time with her. John was punctually on time, professional and caring of our fur baby. He left our place clean and spotless as well. A true gentleman indeed!
