About: I've been an animal lover all my life and have taken care of a variety of animals like rabbits, cats and kittens, ferrets, and dogs and puppies. Neighbors, classmates, coworkers, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and generally offer a home away from home experience for their pets. I also have some training in the veterinary field and have a background in Biology and medication management. I'm also a fellow customer on Rover and I offer the same top-notch experience that I look for in my sitters. My goal is to ensure your peace of mind and to guarantee that your fur family member(s) have the best time when we hang out together. I've done boarding in the pets' homes, dog walking, cat walking, boarding in my home, drop-in visits, and administering medications (including injections). Currently, I am offering drop-in visits in your home and dog (or cat!) walking. I also love to take care of animals like fish, ferrets, and birds! I have a flexible schedule and would love to either drop in for a visit with your fur family members or to take them out for a walk in the great outdoors. I am a highly conscientious caretaker and will do my best to provide a seamless experience when I am taking care of your pet. My current fur family has a variety of needs, so I have lots of experience managing multiple pets and multiple types of care at the same time. For example, my dog, Cedar, is a senior pup and requires injections once a week and daily oral medications, so I've gotten creative to find a routine that works best for him. I have 2 cats, one who is a grazer and one who eats every kibble in sight, so feeding has been an adventure. But, I'm always ready for a challenge and I enjoy giving the best possible care to every pet I encounter. I share these examples to show that I am adaptable and open to whatever type of care your fur family member(s) need.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. I’ll be able to devote my time and attention to your pets as you need me to. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.

As for house-sitting, my husband takes care of all our animals so that I can be fully present to stay with yours! My work schedule is flexible and I work from home most days. On the days I go into the office, I am not gone for extended hours. I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time.
