He was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the entire situation. He sent daily updates and pictures, followed all of the instructions I left, and took wonderful care of Maxx. I felt completely comfortable trusting him in my home, and he left everything spotless. There was one small mishap in the house, but he communicated with me about it right away—accidents happen, and I appreciated his honesty and quick communication. Since it was a longer stay, I also gave him permission to have his girlfriend visit (met beforehand as well), and she was nice and respectful as well. I truly have no complaints or issues whatsoever. About: I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I take pride in providing the best care possible, being fully present to an animal and their needs, and providing the peace of mind to you that I would want when away from my pets. With pets of my own, I know what it is like to find someone who you truly trust and feel comfortable with - I hope to be that person. As for house-sitting, my husband takes care of all our animals so that I can be fully present to stay with yours! I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time. About: I've never lived without having a pet. Dogs, cats, reptiles, bunnies and guinea pigs have brought enormous amounts of joy and love to my life. Each pet still has a special place in my heart, and I care for others pets as if they were my own. Pets are family! I work part-time and would love to meet and care for your pets in my free time! I currently have a puppy and 2 cats of my own. My puppy (Duck) was being rehomed by a family that discovered their son is allergic to dogs, and I couldn't resist his sweet face. My orange cat (Goose) was taken in after my daughter's friend's cat had kittens, and my big black cat (Apache) was adopted from the Right Meow cat cafe in Fuquay. My apartment has a dog park, which i go to 1-2 times a day with my puppy, Duck. I've taught him how to use the agility equipment, and he always loves to play between sniff sessions. My cats are big cuddle babies, but also like their space at times, so their requests for personal space (and treats) is always respected.

Liz was an absolutely incredible sitter. We booked her on short notice when our other sitter had a last minute emergency, and since that day, Liz has been on top of it with communication. She made time that day to have a meet and greet with Truffle, and he immediately loved playing with her. As first time pet parents, we were nervous about leaving our young puppy, but Liz understood and went above and beyond with communication and pictures/videos along with the play and care that she gave Truffle. In fact, she did these thoughtful things like him these incredible lick mats than looked so much better than what even we make him. We joke that he may go home with her! She even taught him some new tricks that we were trying to teach him. Liz treated both our house and our puppy with so much care, and we will definitely be booking her again soon!
Kayla did an amazing job watching our dog over a long weekend! She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was getting lots of attention and care. The best part was coming home to a calm, happy pup—it was obvious he had been well cared for and felt comfortable the whole time. Julie (Payton) was the perfect fit for a week of overnights with our babies! She was so good at communicating with us during her stay about questions and any issues as they came up. Our dogs LOVED her and enjoyed the cuddles and play time, and even a car ride to the coffee shop for a pup cup! She was so patient with our large dog that i think was trying to go with her to work and escaped the small fenced area while she was trying to leave, and she made sure he was secured again before leaving. She also gave our horses some love while we were gone, which she didn't have to do! And they loved her too! Definitely recommend using her for any persisting needs as she is reliable, trustworthy and truly goes above and beyond to love the animals.
