“Rissa was great with our pup Charlie. He is normally shy but warmed up quickly to her! She has excellent communication skills and so the updates were spot on. It really made us comfortable while we were away knowing Charlie was being well cared for by Rissa with snuggles, nice walks, and playtime. 😊 We would definitely have her again and recommend her care.”

“Dean did an amazing job with our girl over the 4th of July weekend. We reached out to him shortly before our trip and he was able to not only accommodate our requests, but surpass what we expected. He comforted our girls during fireworks, loved on them for many hours each day, and made sure they were safe and happy! Would highly recommend Dean & his services.”

“Chelsea took such great care of my boys. She sent tons of pics great pics to keep me updated and I could tell they were in great hands and had so much fun. She left the house in great condition and just as good as we left it. Will definitely rebook with her again in the future.”
“I was gone for more than a week over the holiday break and having Kristine watch my dog in my home made me not be stressful being away. She provided consistent communication and photos and my pup was well cared for while I was gone.”

“Taylor was amazing! I reached out to Taylor last minute for a few nights of house sitting with our zoo. Our dogs all have different personalities but she made sure to cater to them all. I am so glad I found her as she was extremely accommodating and made sure to keep me updated throughout my trip away from home.”

About: I have been a pet sitter for years who specializes in dog care and training. I have a zoology degree from NCSU and 1.5 yrs experience as a kennel technician. During the school year I am a teacher so I am looking for income over the summer working remotely. Looking to supplement another part-time job. Currently I live in a townhouse with my dog 6 year old dog Mickey and 1 year old cat Guinness. Mickey is a 6yr old lab Dalmatian mix who is well trained and loves to play with other pups. I typically love setting up dog play dates and walks. Guinness is a spunky 1 year old black cat. Social, but does his own thing.
“Brooke was fantastic to have as a sitter! I have a rescue pup who is a bit high needs (just really super shy/anxious), Brooke kepted me informed the entire stay on how things were going, progress, and asked questions. I knew my Hazel was in great hands for the weekend.”

I'm currently a part-time college student with a very open schedule. I will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your animals! In your home I will take care of your dog to the highest standard and follow any safety steps needed to make sure they stay safe and happy.

“When I met Kaitlin at the meet and greet I knew that I could trust her with my dogs in my home. She listened to the dogs needs and was there for them. She stayed late on the 4th of July as one of my two dogs is so afraid of fireworks. Kaitlin can follow medication needs. Sent pictures of the dogs at play and one of the dogs, the shy one, with her, by her side. I’ve scheduled Kaitlin for another long weeks.”

“Natallia was great with Duck! She was very communicative and made sure both Duck and I were comfortable when I had to leave! I will definitely work with Natallia in the future and highly recommend her!”

“We had the BEST experience with Loren watching our dogs! She watched our two golden retrievers and even brought her own golden over during the day so they could all play together. Our boys loved it! She kept us updated, took great care of everyone, and treated our house like it was her own. She sent lots of cute pictures too. Highly recommend Loren and will definitely use her again in the future🤩”

About: I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I take pride in providing the best care possible, being fully present to an animal and their needs, and providing the peace of mind to you that I would want when away from my pets. With pets of my own, I know what it is like to find someone who you truly trust and feel comfortable with - I hope to be that person. I have a flexible hybrid telework schedule that allows me to be available for care-taking around your pets' schedule needs. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and instructions. As for house-sitting, my husband takes care of all our animals so that I can be fully present to stay with yours! I am open and honest and will be available for any more information you would like to know! Thanks for considering me to take care of your precious friends. My work schedule is flexible and I work from home most days. On the days I go into the office, I am not gone for extended hours. I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time. Please do not reach out if your dog is not (small) dog and cat friendly, thank you! (Our previous dog, RIP, is still listed here, she passed recently and I cannot bring myself to delete her profile yet...)
“Awesome job! ???This was the longest I've ever been gone from my pup. He was loved and well taken care of. Lots of plays and snuggles. I came home to a happy dog, lots of pics while I was gone to keep me updated. Highly recommend Mike for your pet sitting and dog walking!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Willow Spring
Julie (Payton) was the perfect fit for a week of overnights with our babies! She was so good at communicating with us during her stay about questions and any issues as they came up. Our dogs LOVED her and enjoyed the cuddles and play time, and even a car ride to the coffee shop for a pup cup! She was so patient with our large dog that i think was trying to go with her to work and escaped the small fenced area while she was trying to leave, and she made sure he was secured again before leaving. She also gave our horses some love while we were gone, which she didn't have to do! And they loved her too! Definitely recommend using her for any persisting needs as she is reliable, trustworthy and truly goes above and beyond to love the animals.

Kiara is amazing! We’ve used her before and she always takes such great care of our pup and our home. She’s reliable, caring, and gives us total peace of mind when we’re away. It’s obvious she genuinely loves animals, and our pup is always happy with her. Highly recommend Kiara!

Matthew did a fantastic job with Louie. He put in so much effort to build trust with our dog, followed every instruction with great attention to detail, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We also got amazing photos of our pup while we were away, which made us feel completely at ease. Truly a 10/10 experience, highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Willow Spring on Rover is $48.15 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,990 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Willow Spring. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Willow Spring walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Willow Spring maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Willow Spring choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willow Spring. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
