About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. I have also long term fostered a special needs dog. I am an empty nester and when my children moved out they took their pets. I’ll be able to devote my time and attention to your pets as you need me to. During my previous time pet sitting I have stayed at the owner’s home as well as done 2-3 times a day check ins. When doing these I play by house rules. Crating a dog is not a problem as that is what I do with my own. I have pet sat for people who do and do not crate their animals.

About: My wife and I have been been around animals our enter lives, from dogs and cats to horses and goats. Currently we have a 10 year old rescue pup, and have used some of our spare time to volunteer at the local animal shelters. We both work from home, and have a four year old son (who spends much of the day at preschool), but when he's home loves spending time with the dogs and helping out. Large gated back yard, nearly an acre for them to run and play in. Our dog loves to swim in our pool, and yours is welcome to as well. Inside we have plenty of space for them to relax and be comfortable.

Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: Hiya 👋 I am Kristyn and I love all things dogs! I currently have 2 of my own, Puck a 90lb hound mix and Hattie a 30lb pocket pittie who I love dearly. I spent a good chunk of my time volunteering at a local animal shelter in NY when I lived there and so I am well versed with working with all different dog personalities. I wound up adopting 2 from there, who have since passed, and had to work with them both on both stranger and dog issues. At my time at the shelter I did participate in dog training programs to help dogs get adopted and have used that within my own dog ownership with my own dogs. I went through the growing pains with my older boys so I am comfortable with seniors and have had plenty of time with puppies that I am also comfortable with them! When I first moved to NC I worked at an vet for about a year and a half as a kennel tech and vet assistant/helper. I was tasked with administering all meds to boarders and am more than comfortable doing so should your pup need!! At the moment I work from home 3-4 days a week, but on the days I am in office I work right here in Fuquay :) My son is currently in school 5 days a week and my daughter is in daycare 2 days a week to which I am their school bus, so twice a day I have to take care of that. Otherwise I am more than able for drop-ins and walks between 9am and 3pm, but please feel free to reach out if you need a time outside of that range and I will do what I can to make it work :) I am available for in your home boarding/dog sitting as well as dog walking as needed. I prefer to keep your furbabies as much on your schedule as possible so a meet and greet is best to determine the best plan of action while out of town. Plenty of outside time or just relaxing inside as needed and time out of the crate if necessary! At this time I am still not offering in my home care but who knows it could be something I am able to do in the future!

My primary goal is to make sure the client and pet are comfortable. I currently am not in school or employed as I recently moved to the area. I have lots of time on my hands to spend with your baby. I will always put the pet's needs first, and ensure I keep their schedule the same as my client does for them. I care for the animal and the home and keep it just as I found it.
About: I don't remember at time that I didn't have a dog as a companion. They've always been a part of my family. Currently I have a long haired Chihuahua at home. Joey is 11 years old and going strong. Until this past April, I also had a miniature poodle that was named Shadow. Shadow and I were best friends for 17 years until he passed from old age. During his lifetime, Shadow was able to travel to The Bahamas and to Canada with me. I loved being with him. I know how hard it is to leave a pet behind, wondering if they're ok. It's important that you know they're well taken care of when you're away. I'll take care of them like they're my own.

I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time. About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. About: Hi! My name is Phinette, I have always been a huge animal lover since I was little and have had a variety of pets throughout my life. Growing up, I had three small dogs, a rabbit for the past 7 years (recently got a second!), have had 5 pet rats, and my family also currently has 6 cats and a pitbull mix, so being around and loving animals has been part of my life since I was born! With that being said, I am more than comfortable caring for any type of animal whether they need special care or just extra love and attention, I would be happy to help! I have lots of experience not only caring for my own pets, but other peoples as well, so I know how important it is to pay attention to the small details in an animals day-to-day to help make them feel as comfortable as possible while their family is away. I am currently a Physical Therapist Assistant student and attend school Monday through Thursday, typically from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Because of my school schedule, I am most available for pet care in the early mornings and evenings during the week, as well as anytime on the weekends. I would love to incorporate pet care into my schedule! Overnight stays work best for me on the days I have school, but I am also available for drop-in visits and dog walking in the afternoons/evenings or anytime on the weekends. I am more than happy to work with you to find a schedule that works best for you and your pet and to make sure they are well taken care of and receive all the attention they need! As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pet in someone else's care.
