About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. Like my grandkids: I love having them and playing, but I also love the flexibility of sending them back to mom and dad! I am a retired teacher and am home most days. I have various errands during the day, or other things, but nothing that would interfere with visiting guests. I no longer have a dog of my own but our visiting fur babies ( and the grands) have a fenced yard with doggy door. Dogs are secure inside the back yard. I care for one dog, that loves the back yard and wants to stay out all day, weather permitting. He is safe and secure there with water and shade, and comes in when he is ready. But most of the dogs come inside. They are free to go out to play and do their business.

About: I grew up with a dog in the house and have been around all sorts of breeds. I have experience with both small and large dogs. I am also very responsible when it comes to giving animals the care they need. I know how tough it can be to leave best friends back at home, so I will make sure that your pet is tended to on time and that you are updated promptly, with lots of pictures. Your pet will be happy and healthy with me. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets at any time and for any duration. With my own dog, we wake up around 7:30am and start the day with breakfast, going outside, etc.. I take her out at least once every 2-4 hours and maintain a steady schedule for feedings. During my lunch break and when I get off work, we go on a 20-30 minute walk or play fetch for extra exercise. I have a large yard to run around in and tons of places to go walking. My lab is very friendly and playful as well. I can easily crate your pet if needed, or I can “baby proof” areas easily if you prefer they be able to roam.
About: I’ve cared for and trained my own dogs throughout my life, to include breeds of all varieties. I’ve cared for and helped others care for their special needs pups, rescues, and seniors and actual puppies. I’m currently laid off and trying to fill my time with some furry snuggles! About: I grew up with Rottweilers. My parents had one when engaged, that made it until I was 3. We then got another for my 9th birthday, and two more after she passed in 2023. I have taken care of neighbors dogs, including walking and feeding, and know what it takes to look after any size or age of dog. I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time.
