“Charlotte did an amazing job with drop-ins and dog walking. She had great communication and was attentive throughout the whole week. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Amber is great! She took care of my special needs senior dog for a week while I was out of town. She was great at updating me about how he was doing and showed him lots of love while I was gone. He definitely enjoyed her visits everyday. I will be requesting Amber again on my next out of town trip!”
“Bethany was amazing! We had to book her last minute to care for our cat while we were away for the weekend because she was recently hospitalized and needed someone to administer her medicine and she came through in a pinch and took great care of our girl. She provides lots of updates and truly cares for your pets like her own! I will definitely rebook with her in the future, and I’m sure our cat will be happy about that too!”

“Vanessa was absolutely amazing. Vanessa instantly responded back when I messaged her. She went above and beyond and took the best care of our pup. She sent so many pictures and was so great at communicating. We came home to one happy dog all thanks to Vanessa!!”

“Lauren was wonderful. She did everything we asked and took good care of our cat while we were away. She even brought a package inside that was left on our porch so it wouldn't look like we were away. Would definitely engage her again.”

“Came home to happy and healthy cat! She stopped by everyday to care for my cat Ozzy and took pictures every time! Very attentive and gave me updates on him through my whole trip!”

“Madison was amazing! She gave us frequent updates, and when we got back from our trip the animals were as calm as could be. It was obvious she spent time with each of them and made sure they got attention and were cared for.”

“Ravi was great! He was so attentive to my girls and provided detailed updates for all 5 days I was out of town with my family. I would absolutely book again next time I need someone to watch my cats!”

“David and Johanna did a wonderful job with our cats. I know the cats were well cared for seemed very happy when we returned. They also brought in delivered packages which was very helpful. We will definitely rebook! Thank you!”

“We love traveling but it pains us to leave our furrbabies behind. Kelly makes it so much easier for us to travel knowing our kitties are in great hands. We are beyond grateful to have found her on Rover!”

About: I have taken care of puppies, kittens, and senior animals. I know how to train puppies and administer medicine for older pets if needed . I am no longer working full-time. I have the time and energy to take care of your animals during those time one is unable to. I can do pop ins, pet walks, play dates, pet care for a weekend or a week whatever is needed I’m your person. I’m free
About: I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I take pride in providing the best care possible, being fully present to an animal and their needs, and providing the peace of mind to you that I would want when away from my pets. With pets of my own, I know what it is like to find someone who you truly trust and feel comfortable with - I hope to be that person. I have a flexible hybrid telework schedule that allows me to be available for care-taking around your pets' schedule needs. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and instructions. As for house-sitting, my husband takes care of all our animals so that I can be fully present to stay with yours! I am open and honest and will be available for any more information you would like to know! Thanks for considering me to take care of your precious friends. My work schedule is flexible and I work from home most days. On the days I go into the office, I am not gone for extended hours. I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch. I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time. Please do not reach out if your dog is not (small) dog and cat friendly, thank you! (Our previous dog, RIP, is still listed here, she passed recently and I cannot bring myself to delete her profile yet...)

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped care for pets for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I’m comfortable with different breeds and personalities, from high energy pups to older dogs who just want a calm walk and some company. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every pet like they’re my own. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals. I plan my days so I have plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check ins without rushing. I like being consistent, so pets can feel secure and know what to expect. Spending time with animals is something that brings calm and balance to my week. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding and walk schedules carefully, keep their areas clean, and give them attention based on their personality. Some pets want extra cuddles, others just quiet company and I respect that. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Willow Spring
Liz did the best job taking care of Tahoe for a week! She was very prepared and thorough beforehand. During the visit, she sent frequent updates. We could tell Tahoe was being loved and cared for. She also left our house in perfect condition. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! We will definitely be using Liz again.

Kristyn was exactly what we needed this weekend. She took excellent care of Coconut and Papaya and seemed to really spend time playing with them and learning their personalities. She is very communicative and punctual. I can’t think of anything I would suggest she should have done differently. 10/10. She sent me more pictures of my smiling dogs than even I’ve taken in the last several months 😆 they were in great hands. Thank you!!

Amanda was a fantastic sitter for our dog that requires bladder expression. This was the first time we’ve been away from the dogs and used a sitter, we were very nervous but the experience could not have better for us or the dogs. Amanda’s attention to detail, veterinary background, and clear and frequent communication put us at ease the entire time we were away from the pups!

Our family had a great experience with Emma watching our pup, Buster. She was responsive, caring, and kept us updated with photos and messages while we were away. Buster clearly felt comfortable and well cared for. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her!

Alicia was our first experience with using a pet sitter, she came at lunch time to let our dog out for a midday break and played ball with her for several months. Our dog is a rescue, but mostly Belgium Malinois mix so high drive and mischievous requiring someone patient yet firm. Alicia is dependable, communicative and we could tell by the daily photos she provided that Peanut loved her visits with her. She was great at correcting and redirecting her bad behaviors (hole digging) - we were so relieved to have such a wonderful caretaker for our pet and would 100% recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
