About: While I don’t have formal training, I’ve been a proud dog mom for over 14 and 16 years. Both of my pups lived long, happy, and healthy lives, thanks to lots of love, consistent care, and really getting to know their individual needs. I truly adore animals—so much so that I find myself slowing down or stopping just to wave or talk to dogs I see out on walks in the neighborhood! Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just quiet companionship, I’m all about making pets feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. I’m available some evenings during the week and more flexibly on weekends. Whether it's stopping by for a walk, a drop-in visit, or weekend sitting, I’m always excited to spend time with animals and give them the love and attention they deserve. In my home, pets have a cozy and secure space to relax, including a pet-safe pod for quiet time or rest—even though I don’t use a traditional crate. About: I've been working with animals since I was 18, when I began volunteering with my local humane society, where I assisted with feeding, cleaning, socializing, and handling animals. I went on to work as a veterinary assistant at an animal clinic/hospital, where I learned more about handling animals and administering medications for cats and dogs. I no longer work at a veterinary office because I'm currently in an online bachelor's degree program that makes a traditional full-time job difficult to manage. But my schooling is incredibly flexible and I love working with animals, so part-time pet care is perfect for me! I have done pet-sitting for cats and dogs in the past, but I am also comfortable working with fish (I had a beloved betta fish in high school). I am definitely open to caring for other animals, but I would need additional instruction to compensate for my inexperience. I have particular experience with special needs animals because my own cat, Birdie, has hind limb paresis. She scoots around instead of walking, wears diapers, and has daily oral medication. "Special needs" encompasses a wide range of conditions, so I won't pretend to know how to care for all disabled animals but my personal experience provides me with the patience and flexibility to learn about the particular needs of your pet. I'm currently in a flexible online degree program that allows me to shape my schedule around my clients. Pet care through rover offers me supplemental income and ensures that I get out of the house regularly! I understand that every animal is different, so I don't have a universal approach to pet-sitting. I believe enrichment is essential to an animal's wellbeing and I incorporate that into my pet care. I make sure to take time to play with pets as well as feed, walk, or clean after them.

About: I love animals and have been taking care of pets on and off for the past 10 years in my free time. I love taking the time to learn about each of my client’s pets unique needs. I really aim for consistency when it comes to care. I have cared for young as well as senior animals. I have administer medication such topicals, oral, and injections (such as insulin). I believe one of my best qualities is taking the time to meet animals where they are and having a the patience to get to know them. I find that it typically helps the process of building trust and a relationship with them. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community 🌈🏳️‍⚧️ just wanted to share that in case it were to be a conflict for anyone and for my safety 💛 I work remotely (Monday-Thursday 10am - 9pm except for Tuesdays when I work 11am -10pm). I am able overnight visits (if they are needed during my work schedule I am able to work from your home would just need WiFi access). Currently I will only be able to provide visits at my client’s home. Consistency is very important to me when it comes to pet care so I will ensure that I am following whatever guidelines my client’s would like when it comes to their pet’s needs.

About: I’ve been raising and caring for dogs since I was about 9 years old so I'm used to everything from teacup pups to massive dogs. I’m completely unfazed by dogs who are a little rough or have tons of energy to burn. Plus, if your furry best friend needs any special accommodations or extra care, I’ve got the patience and the time to make sure they feel completely safe and loved. Since I work from home full-time, pet care is already built right into my daily routine. I'm constantly stepping away from my desk to play with or check on my own dog, and I always use my lunch break for a long walk outside. Your pup will get the same love and affection all day long. I want to make your pup feel like they're at a second home, so whatever their normal routine is, we'll make it happen. My own dog has free reign of the place from my bed to the couch and yours will absolutely get that same VIP treatment. Since I live in a cozy apartment, we usually get all our energy out during our walks outside. I'm very flexible so if your dog prefers chilling in their crate or if you want to stick to a specific routine just let me know and I'll gladly follow.

About: I've taken care of dogs including those with special needs since I was 10 years old. Friends, neighbors and family have requested my services. I am also comfortable pet sitting cats and other animals. I am available full-time all summer. I am a Wake Tech student so will also be available throughout the fall of 2026 and the spring of 2027. We have a fenced yard to keep our dogs safe. But we also walk them each day to get exercise. I am comfortable taking dogs out on a walk for 30 minute plus time slots depending on the dog's needs. I am comfortable with dogs who are leash reactive.

About: I grew up in a house that had at least 3 dogs (both large and small) and a couple of cats at all times! My mom bought each of my siblings and I a dog to take care of when we all reached middle school age. For me, it was a minature dachshund named "Spike" who became my best friend! All of that being said, I have a lot of experience with the everyday care of both cats and dogs. I have lots of experience pet sitting for friends and family, and I worked in kennel for one summer in college. While working in the kennel I got a lot of hands on experience with different breeds and temperaments of both large and small dogs. And I am not shy about cleaning up after pets either! I am currently taking a few online college classes, but I am currently unemployed so my schedule is very flexible! Mornings, afternoons, and some evenings... I can be available. My number one priority is safety, both for your pet and for me. I have experience with both agressive dogs and dogs/cats that like to put themselves in danger... for example, getting into things they shouldn't or having a fondness for bolting out the door. I am careful 100% of the time!
