New offering- wedding attendant for your furry friends! A new gig I love (message me for more info). I’ve pet sat for over almost two decades now, since middle school. I love all animals big and small, furry and scaly. My airedale and cats are my current loves but I promise to love your fur/scale/feathered babies too! I’ve trained him well and I’d love to help with your dog or cat as well. Any animal actually, I am game! I grew up in Michigan by farms where I even took care of horses, goats, reptiles, and more. My pooch is quite large and exuberant so don’t worry if you think your dog is too much to handle 💪🏼. I utilize the plenty of parks and trails. I’m a runner so if your dog is up for it, he can tag along. My dog also loves other dogs to play with if you’d like- I know my dog would love the company! Unrelated about me: I have a business degree and a master’s of education in sport administration. I currently work as a Budget Manager for the Department of Health and Human Resources.

This was my first time leaving my cats with a stranger, and Rachel couldn’t have been a better pick for it. We arranged a meet & greet a few days prior so she could get the lay of the land and let the cats warm up to her. One of my cats hides from new people, the other lashes out. Rachel somehow made them both feel safe enough to be present and curious - the snippy one even genuinely liked her by the end of it! Each morning and night I looked forward to her Rover cards, and really enjoyed watching my babies get more and more comfortable with her. My partner and I are breathing a collective sigh of relief, knowing we now have a go-to cat sitter for future trips.
Rachel was fantastic with our two cats while we were gone for a week! She did all the basics and then some, making sure they got some outdoor time and pets every time she visited. Will definitely be booking her again—thank you, Rachel! 🙌🏼
Rachel is great! I had a last-minute walk request and she was awesome. She kept a close eye on my pup as the temperature was heating up, would definitely recommend.

This was our first booking together, and I had a great experience! She took the time to come meet Prada and me beforehand, which really helped put my mind at ease as a first-time puppy owner. Prada liked her immediately, and it was clear she was comfortable with her. She was reliable, caring, and treated Prada like her own. I felt confident knowing Prada was in good hands and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work a typical 8-5 (with some flexibility and long lunches to walk a dog or two). Mostly available in early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
This all depends on the owners wishes and the dogs needs. If an older dog needs time to cuddle inside, that’s what I will do. If they need plenty of exercise, I love being active! I am always over cautious about what they can get their teeth on in and outside the home and doorways to prevent escapes!

A typical day
I like to take dogs on runs if possible and walks of course! I prefer shaded trails like the greenways and dirt trails at Umstead. Also a big fan of just hanging out and cuddling. All depends on your dogs needs.
