About: I’ve on and off taken care of pets of my friends and family since middle school, and my love for animals has yet increased! I also have a little dog of my own, and caring for her has been a pleasure. Currently, I am a college student attending UNC-Chapel hill! When I am home, I am on a daily routine to feeding, walking, and caring for my dog. Consistency is key for pet care! I have a little dog who loves attention, and I give her all of it! Furbabies are my favorite thing and they need play time, yummy food, clean water, and love!

About: I come from a family of dog lovers and have always grown up around dogs. When I was little, I would always try and teach my dogs tricks and even put on talent shows to show off my pups skills to family. When we got a new puppy when I was 9, my parents signed us up for a 2-week summer training course where I learned how to be a better dog owner and my dog (Tucker) learned how to be a better behaved puppy. I started dogsitting and dog walking at age 12 and loved getting to meet new families and play with their dogs. I am great at working with kids and have greatly strengthened my communication skills through my work as a Kids Academy Instructor at LifeTime fitness. Not only do I love working with pets, I love working with new people and becoming more involved in my community as I hold philanthropy as one of my core values. To top it off, I love going on walks outside and am always looking for an excuse to venture somewhere new! I am currently a Freshman at UNC so most of my availability is in the afternoons. I am currently available for dog walking and dog-sitting services from 2:30-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. On the weekends, my services are available from 9 AM - 5 PM. While I am mostly available in the afternoons, if there is a need for me to come in early in the morning, that could be a possibility, just reach out! I am very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds and will respect all rules and norms that you have for your dog. If your dog has any special needs, just let me know beforehand and I will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals, and I take pet care seriously because I know people are trusting me with a member of their family. Through my work with Lux’s Purpose, a nonprofit that raises and trains service dogs for children with pediatric cancer and chronic illness, I’ve helped socialize, care for, and support the early training of future service dogs. That experience taught me the importance of consistency, patience, clear routines, and close attention to a dog’s body language. I’m an active UNC student, so I’m especially happy to help with dogs who need walks, exercise, and structured care. I’m responsible, careful with instructions, and comfortable following routines for feeding, medications, crate rules, leash habits, or quiet time. I’ll communicate clearly, send updates, and make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and respected while you’re away. I’m a full-time UNC student, but my schedule is very flexible and includes plenty of breaks between classes. A quick bike ride to check in on a pet, go for a walk, or provide care is a perfect way for me to spend that time. While my class schedule varies by day, I am generally not unavailable for more than about four hours at a time. I’m happy to coordinate around your pet’s routine and make sure they get consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. For walks and drop-in visits, I care for pets in their own home environment and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I’ll respect your home, keep doors and gates secure, use the leash or harness setup you prefer, and make sure your pet is safe before I leave. I’m careful about routines, feeding instructions, medications, crate rules, and any special boundaries your pet needs. I also pay attention to body language and will not force interaction if a pet seems nervous or overstimulated. I’ll send clear updates so you know your pet is safe, cared for, and comfortable.

About: My family has always had dogs, 2-3 at a time, and always large (German Shepards or Labs). I have dog sat for neighbors, relatives, and friends - all dogs great and small! I don't mind to get a little dirty, I'm ready to walk and play all day long. I work part-time, but am very flexible and can work to fit your needs. I am pretty much available any day of the week Monday-Sunday, and typically work between the hours of 10am-8pm. I am happy to work earlier or later if necessary! I am currently not offering boarding in my own home but am open to doing stop-in visits in a clients home, no problem there!

About: My neighbors trust me to take care of their furry friends when needed. I’ve since moved away for college and hope to meet more pet parents through Rover! I’m currently studying for the MCAT part-time, so my schedule is flexible and I am free to take care of your pet any day of the week! I can easily stay overnight and or simply go for a walk. I live in a pet-friendly townhome with my sister who also loves animals. We have a spacious living room that can accommodate a crate and an unfenced yard.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life! I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so I really miss the love, cuddles they bring. Thankfully, I’ve still been able to spend time with friends’ and family members’ pets, and I love every chance I get to care for them! I work as a teacher and I am mainly available in the evenings and on weekends! I will have more availability over the summer starting mid-June. I live near a great walking trail and have a flexible summer schedule, which gives me plenty of availability for daytime drop-ins, walks, and check-ins!

My guiding principle is to treat every pet in my care with the same love and attention I give my own elderly Greyhound and sweet tabby cat. That means I have a flexible schedule for you and your pets! I can provide daily drop-ins for any amount of days, or can stay in your home with your pet(s) for up to 4 days. When I am caring for your pets in your home my priority is maintaining their familiar routine to keep stress levels low. ----- Dogs ----- Safety & Exercise: During walks, I always use a leash and practice defensive walking. This means if I see another dog approaching, I will cross the road or move off the sidewalk with your pup to prevent potential conflict or overstimulation. If your dog prefers a faster pace, I’m happy to go for a run with them. I also always supervise backyard time if you have a fenced backyard area. Playtime: For high-energy pups, I'm happy to play with them using their favorite toys. For older pups, I can do gentle playtime and always love couch snuggles (only if they’re allowed on the furniture!). Crating: I follow your house rules. I do not typically use crates unless specifically requested as part of your training or safety routine. ----- Cats ----- Safety & trust: I will follow your cats' lead. I never pick up cats or invade their personal space unless invited by them. If they want to play or receive cuddles, I will be honored to do so! Indoor/outdoor dynamics: I have experience working with indoor and indoor/outdoor cats. Cleanliness & feeding: I clean litter boxes as soon as they're soiled, and will follow your feeding instructions. I've worked with cats that free-feed and those that have scheduled feedings.

About: I am skilled with remembering certain medication regimens or any specific schedule you may have your pet on. Paying attention to their happiness and safety is my biggest concern. I am more than happy to walk them, play with them or simply offer care in the home while you maybe be away. I am an avid animal lover and grew up with dogs. I recently adopted a rescue cat. I look forward to meeting your pet and providing the best care for them! I am able to cater to the needs of each pet and can be flexible when looking after them.
