“Katherine was great to meet and it looked like Maddie did well despite her having separation anxiety. I appreciated the pictures and feedback. It looks like Maddie warmed up to her and enjoyed her potty breaks. I would use her again. She showed up as expected which was very important to me!”

“Ana took wonderful care of Juniper and Finn while I was away. She shared photos of each visit so that I could see how well they were doing and she even brought a few packages in from the porch for me. Ana offered to do additional coverage when my flight home was unexpectedly cancelled and I appreciated her flexibility. I highly recommend Ana.”

About: Caring and responsible dog sitter who treats every dog like family. I provide a safe, loving environment and carefully follow all routines, feeding, walks, and special instructions. Your dog will be well cared for and loved. 🐶❤️ I currently have a job from home and I have the ability to use my time to take care of your pet. ♥️ I currently have a job from home and I have time available♥️ It would be an honor for me to watch your pets! I take care of pets in my house usually. I have a large yard where the pet and I can play freely or we can walk
About: Something that sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I am able to take care of multiple kids and animals at the same time. The first job I had I took care of a pitbull, took care of the house, and children all at once. My one main love is animals. I love taking care of them no matter what. I believe they deserve a loving and caring environment when their owners are out and about. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, picking up after them, brushing them, and more! Pet care fits into my daily schedule well. I absolutely would drop anything to take care of an animal. My only conflict is that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be taking classes for my college. For me, I always make sure to get the pet some sort of exercise during the day or the period of me being at the house. Such as, playing around or walking. I make sure the pet uses the restroom at least once while I'm there and I always make sure to pick up after them. If they are scheduled to be fed, I will feed them the correct amount of food instructed. Whatever the client asks me to do, I will make sure to do it before I leave after my shift.
“Caleigh was great with my dogs. Even my big mastiff. She watched 3 dogs for me and did a wonderful job. She was on time and was able to get pictures of all of them each time she came by. I booked her late but she was responsive and professional. I highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: I have two cats and a small dog at home that I bathe, walk, clean up after and cuddle! I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding kennel. I am passionate about pet care and comfortability and I am committed to brightening your favorite family member's day! No matter the breed, size, age or temperament, every pet deserves the best care. I am currently working part-time and attending classes on Tuesday and Thursday, but I am available for nighttime check ins on those days. I am very patient and understanding, so please just communicate anything you need and I will work with you! I am currently staying in a dorm and am unfortunately unable to board pets. I am able to provide your pet with any kind of care in-home that you need, whether that is administering medicine, puppy care, training practice, basic necessities and, of course, play time! I am also available for house cleaning and general chores as requested.
“Autumn was wonderful, as always, with our kitties! She provided detailed updates and photos. Would highly recommend Autumn to anyone looking for a caring and trusted pet-sitter!”

About: Hey, my name is Tiffani! I've been taking care of my own pets since I was about ten years old. Along with that, I have been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for about the same amount of time. I currently have two dogs, Draco and Rhino, who are both pitbulls, so I have experience caring for big dogs. Although I do not currently have a cat, I have experience caring for cats and kittens and would be thrilled to take care of your furry friend. I will provide a wide variety of services, including walks/potty breaks, feeding, playtime, administering medication if needed, and overnight in-home sitting. I am also happy to help with basic grooming, such as brushing and keeping your pet’s area tidy. My goal is to tailor my services to each pet's needs, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. As for my availability, I am in college and work part-time, but my schedule is still very flexible. That means I can stop in for quick visits, hang out for longer play sessions, or even stay overnight if your pet needs extra company. Making sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved is always what matters most to me! While I am currently in school, working part-time, and volunteering at an animal sanctuary each week, I am very comfortable managing a busy schedule. In addition to caring for my own pets, feeding, walking, playing, and of course, cuddling, I am more than happy to fit your pets into my routine. Whether your pet needs an hour-long walk or overnight care, I am flexible and prepared to accommodate their needs. My dogs get along very well, even though they were introduced to each other a few years apart. However, they must be fed separately to prevent any fights or food stealing. I also have experience caring for dogs who cannot be in the same space together. Because of this, I am fully capable of handling specific care requests, whether that means feeding pets separately or maintaining a safe distance between them for their safety.
About: I worked with wag for over a year, offering various services. I offered walks, drop-in visits, and pet sittings. I had multiple reoccurring clients, who enjoyed my interactions with their pets. Pursuable planning! I plan and organize pet care around my current work schedule. I am available to provide services throughout the week and the weekend. I establish/follow a scheduled routine, while providing a safe and comfortable environment. I enjoy giving a daily dose of fitness, fun and lots of love!

About: Hello! My name is Rylie, and I’m a Ph.D. student with a lifelong love of animals! I’ve had pets of all shapes and sizes from the time I was little, ranging from tiny budgies and pint-sized Pomeranians to 120lb Great Danes. In addition to cats and dogs, I have extensive experience caring for a range of small animals and pets, including birds, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, turtles, geckos, fish, and even shrimp! I’ve also done work in wildlife rescue and research, volunteering with bird banding and conservation efforts. I have experience with a wide variety of petsitting formats— I’ve done both long-term and short-term housesitting, drop-ins, and dog walking (my favorite!). In short, I’m a flexible, versatile, and experienced sitter, who is here to help with whatever pet care needs you may have! DISCOUNT! If you don’t require overnight care, I provide a discount for daytime-only housesitting (12 hours of care, typically 8am-8pm, or as needed). If this seems like a good fit for you, shoot me a message! I’m an early riser with several large breaks in my schedule (particularly around lunch) during the work week! As such, I’m the perfect person to call if your pet likes to be up and at ‘em in the morning, or needs someone to keep them company during the workday! I am also enthusiastic about hiking and running, so if you have a more active dog in need of a long walk, I’d be thrilled to get out and explore with them! I want to make your absence as easy as possible on both you and your sweet pet! As such, I do my best to keep up your pets usual routine and leave your house just as I found it, so that when you come back you can pick up exactly where you left off!
About: I have grown up with dogs so I am very comfortable around them! From playing fetch and going on runs to cuddles and pets I am more than happy to provide your dog with whatever they need. I know that they need lots of love and attention which I am looking forward to giving them. We have two dogs of our own, Wilbur and Goose, and I wish I could have more! But giving your pets love will do me just fine. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me. I look forward to taking great care of your pets! Luckily, I get to work remotely. This allows me a lot of flexibility of when I am able to provide pet care since I can work around my schedule easily! We are fortunate enough to have a large fenced in back yard for our pups to run freely in! Whenever they are not playing outside, they are inside with me and have the option of napping on their own couch, playing with me, or relaxing in my office.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I love animals and look forward to being able to spend time walking, feeding and playing with your fur baby! I currently work from home so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am available for boarding/day camp on Weekdays and Weekends. Also, dog walking at your home Monday-Friday after 6p. And on weekends. I have plenty of room and a friendly dog named Charlie for your pups to play. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I currently will have to walk your pups.
“Ali is simply a lovely human. My dogs took to him immediately. Gus was especially excited to meet his new friend and Ali responded with nothing but patience and understanding. Ali has an energy that is simultaneously enthusiastic and calming. We’re excited to have him back :)”

Hillary was a God send!! So flexible and easy going and really bonded with my stressed out doggie as we hadn't really left him before. She was also flexible with me adding and subtracting walks due to my ineptitude with the app. Hillary went out of her way to make our dog and us comfortable. We will absolutely book her again! She's awesome!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Pittsboro with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
