About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My priorities start with my pet family, unless I'm taking care of yours. Then, your pets become my priority. I work from home most of the time and that allows me to have the ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I can care for your pets as appropriate, on their time. About: I adore all animals and wish I could spend more time with them which is why I am applying to become a pet sitter. I have experience caring for my own animals throughout my life as well as fostering animals while they waited for their forever homes. Whether your pet needs an hour-long walk or overnight care, I am flexible and prepared to accommodate their needs. My dogs get along very well, even though they were introduced to each other a few years apart. However, they must be fed separately to prevent any fights or food stealing. I also have experience caring for dogs who cannot be in the same space together. Because of this, I am fully capable of handling specific care requests, whether that means feeding pets separately or maintaining a safe distance between them for their safety.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! I’ve cared for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. There’s truly no animal I don’t love. My schedule is really flexible throughout the week, and I’m more than happy to work around other people’s availability as best as I can.
