We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My priorities start with my pet family, unless I'm taking care of yours. Then, your pets become my priority. I work from home most of the time and that allows me to have the ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I can care for your pets as appropriate, on their time. I've raised my dog training game significantly over the past few years, attending regular sessions with my trusted trainer, Baptiste. About: Something that sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I am able to take care of multiple kids and animals at the same time. The first job I had I took care of a pitbull, took care of the house, and children all at once. My one main love is animals. I love taking care of them no matter what. I believe they deserve a loving and caring environment when their owners are out and about. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, picking up after them, brushing them, and more! Pet care fits into my daily schedule well. I absolutely would drop anything to take care of an animal. My only conflict is that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be taking classes for my college. For me, I always make sure to get the pet some sort of exercise during the day or the period of me being at the house. Such as, playing around or walking. I make sure the pet uses the restroom at least once while I'm there and I always make sure to pick up after them. If they are scheduled to be fed, I will feed them the correct amount of food instructed. Whatever the client asks me to do, I will make sure to do it before I leave after my shift.
