She was very thoughtful in anticipating the needs of our pets and making sure that they were comfortable with the transition to having someone new in the home. She was is in constant contact with us during the our trip sending pictures and updates on their daily exploits. I was a pet/ house sitter myself for many years and I couldn't have done better myself. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again to watch my little ones.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since the day I was born. I grew up with a chocolate lab and currently my family has a sweet senior beagle. I know how to handle dogs from puppies to seniors and I'm comfortable with all sizes. I've pet sat for dogs as small as Pomeranians to Great Danes. As a senior dog owner, I am comfortable with senior care and will make sure all of your pets get the love and care they deserve. I also am experienced with walking pets to doing overnight stays to keep your pets company while you're away. I'm so excited to get to know you and your furry family members! I am currently working part-time and remotely so I have plenty of time to care for your pets 7 days a week and at any time of the day. In your home, I can walk dogs on a leash, monitor and play with them outside in a fenced yard, feed them at your requested times, and make sure they are safe whether it be on a 20 minute walk or an overnight stay.

“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”

About: I can’t have my own dog right now, so I’d love to hang out with yours! I grew up with dogs (puppies to old dogs) and I have watched friends’, neighbors’, and family members’ dogs for them. I am responsible and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I work on campus ~9-5 pm (M-F), but my schedule is somewhat flexible if hours need to be adjusted for the pet. I am available all day on weekends and most weeknights. I am a responsible PhD student and will do my best to take care of both your pet and your home and follow any specific guidelines from you. I will take your dog on a run in the morning if you’d like, and I’d love to play with your dog/cat. :) I’m also happy to transport your pet in my car.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and pet sat for family and friends dogs through middle school and high school. During college and a little after I fostered puppies and dogs who needed special attention. I have a two year old miniature dachshund. I work four 12 hour on call shifts. The days I work change on a week to week basis so feel free to message me to see if i’m available that day/time. I give each dog the care and attention they need and deserve. I take my dogs on walks and my little dog loves to play fetch and go swimming. I have experience giving dogs medication from my time fostering puppies in college.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I’ve been watching people’s pets since I was a teenager. I started dog walking because I wanted to get outside more and I love dogs, so it seems like a great fit! I can do baths and nail trims as needed. If you’d like these please book a drop in visit or grooming. I would love to come visit your pups or take them for a walk. Thank you so much! I have a fenced in yard, and so my dogs go out constantly during the day. I’ll make sure that I’m back at the house frequently to check on them and let them out. They have free room of the house, but they are not allowed to get on the beds. We have two cats, two dogs, and a tortoise. My dogs are active and energetic, but they sure do know how to chill out and relax! During the day my living room basically looks like a dog lounge! I would be happy to put all my experience to use for your pets. My dogs are in and out of the yard all day and play together constantly. I work M-F in Pittsboro, so my availability is mostly weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. I love to play with the dogs in the backyard and walk them around the neighborhood. I prefer not to walk dogs loose but I will play with them in a fenced-in area if you have access to that. We love treats, so let me know if you have special treats for your dog.
