Top rated Bear Creek house sitters

“Patricia was absolutely wonderful! Our pup was very well cared for, and the house was just as we left it upon our return. Patricia came by twice prior to our departure to make sure she had all the details and to get to know our Great Dane. She sent photos and updates while we were away, and she was extremely kind and professional throughout. We definitely recommend Patricia, and we will use her again for any pet or housesitting needs.”

“Lily was a great dog sitter! She was communicative, considerate and left our home in perfect condition. She sent lots of pictures and our dog seemed very comfortable with her. We would definitely love to have her house and dog sit again.”

“Will definitely use Michael again! I hired Michael to watch our house and our dog while we went away for the weekend. He took great care of my house and would send us updates of my dog playing and having fun! Highly recommend Michael!”

“Took great care of my boys!!”

“Britta was amazing!! She took the best care of our girl and our home! They went for so many long walks and outings. She was also great about sending me pictures and updates throughout the day. I could tell my dog was so happy and well taken care of during their visit. I would highly recommend Britta!”

“Great with the dogs from the first meet and greet! Great communication before, during and after. Would definitely recommend.”

“My animals love Ali! We came back from a four day trip to find healthy, happy animals, with clean litterboxes and a well-maintained home. Thank you!”

“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”

“Camille was incredible with my two older dogs. They are quite needy and she handled all of their quirks and special needs with such great care. She watched them at our house for a week while we were out of town and left the house cleaner than when we left! She gave us updates and sent pictures and videos throughout our time away so we knew the pups were doing alright. I highly recommend her for any of your dog sitting needs!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13. I am relied upon by friends, family, coworkers to walk, feed, bathe and love on their fur babies while they are away. I am a full employee with weekends off and a 7:20-4:30/7:45-5 job during the week. I have an hour lunch so I can check on your fur baby. I greet them every time I walk through the door and make sure to give them lots of love throughout the day. I make sure they live their best life, like a human person

About: I have had pets since I have memory so I understand they are more than a pet to us, they become a member of our family! I have an animal science degree from NC State and have worked at a Veterinary Hospital for over 3 years! I can adapt to any of your pet's needs and will take care of them as if they were my own! I am currently waiting to get into a masters degree program therefore I have a lot of free time to dedicate it to your pets! I love playing and making sure all of your pet's needs are fulfilled! If they need extra exercise, more cuddles or follow a strict schedule, I am able to adapt to any condition! I have a car where I can transport them around if needed for any play dates or fun time at the dog park!

“Savanna responded promptly to my LAST MINUTE REQUEST for 9 hours of help with 2, maybe 3 dogs. She sent photos and reports through the afternoon and assured me she would still be there, even though I was going to be 30 minutes late getting home. My dogs, fostered for a Border Collie rescue, wanted to follow her out the door. I hope to continue asking for Savanna's help for future dog sitting needs.”

“Nikki was awesome! She sent lots of pictures and updates. It was the first time leaving our puppy but she was great with him! What a relief to have someone dependable and responsible tj care for a member of our family.”

“My dog is very wary of new people, and therefore requires someone who really understands dogs. Kelly agreed to meet our dog prior to sitting for us, and my husband was amazed at how our dog (who often has fear-based aggression with new people) INSTANTLY loved Kelly! Kelly sent us pictures 2-3 times a day, which showed us that our dog was having a great time! Will definitely book again!”

“Madison was wonderful, communciated about my pet's well being and attitude. I will definitely hire her again to care for our 4-legged family members!”

About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My priorities start with my pet family, unless I'm taking care of yours. Then, your pets become my priority. I work from home most of the time and that allows me to have the ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I can care for your pets as appropriate, on their time. I've raised my dog training game significantly over the past few years, attending regular sessions with my trusted trainer, Baptiste. Our work has focused on highly reactive dogs and also puppy training. Like kids, pets can do no wrong. I do not get upset with them, I just clean the mess ;)

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals. I love any cat or dog, and treat them as if they are my own. I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat in my families home that I take care of often when they are away. Im currently unemployed, looking for a part time position, so I will have plenty of time to hang out with your pets. I am a student for 2.5 hours a day. I have dogs with open access to outside with an electric fence, and a dog door to let themselves out but I can absolutely crate dogs or leash outside if needed.

“Amy did such a great job watching my huskies and house! Communication was great and she goes above and beyond with things like making extra treats and offering to come back because our flight was delayed. My dogs were very happy when we got home! We will definitely re-book and grateful we found a great sitter.”

“Kendell is great and did a wonderful job! Lots of communication and pictures. We were very happy and comfortable leaving our dogs with her. And could tell our dogs loved her!”

About: I grew up with dogs since I was 12, from a chihuahua mix to a labrador mix. I've had my current dog for five years, a shi-tzu poodle mix. I also have a stray kitten who's less than a year old. I've cared for my neighbors' and friends' dogs when they vacation. They have entrusted me with their dogs to walk, bathe, and feed them. Aftering graduating App State this past May, I stay in Boone and sometimes travel back home. I currently have time more time on my hands than usual. I welcome any pet and will treat them like my own. I live in an apartment and love going to the Greenway trail so I'll be sure to exercise your pet and am willing to care for them in the comfort of their own home.

20. Mia C.
“Mia, from a young age, has always loved animals. As her mother, I know first hand how responsible she is with her two pets at home. Scheduling vet appointments and making sure vaccinations are always up to date. She's tried to make her new cat be an outdoor cat with leash training and loves to taker dog on mile runs to tire her out. She's always buying stuff for her pets, from strollers to cat posts and lots of toys and treats. She loves every animal and I think becoming a pet sitter is such a fitting job for her. She'll treat your pets as one of her own.”
