About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in the household my entire life and know just how much love, attention and activity are important. I’m here to provide for your pet when you need an extra hand. I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.

I grew up on a farm around chickens, horses, dogs, and pigs, and I've always had a connection with animals and find their presence comforting. I'm most experienced with dogs, but I'm a quick learner and enjoy learning how to take care of all animals. “Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

I do have a pit bull, German Shepard, toy schnauzer and a shitzu. Two cats are indoors and 4 cats that come and go in the neighborhood but calls my home home.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was 12, from a chihuahua mix to a labrador mix. I've had my current dog for five years, a shi-tzu poodle mix. I also have a stray kitten who's less than a year old. I've cared for my neighbors' and friends' dogs when they vacation. They have entrusted me with their dogs to walk, bathe, and feed them. Aftering graduating App State this past May, I stay in Boone and sometimes travel back home. I currently have time more time on my hands than usual. I welcome any pet and will treat them like my own. I live in an apartment and love going to the Greenway trail so I'll be sure to exercise your pet and am willing to care for them in the comfort of their own home.

About: I adore all animals and wish I could spend more time with them which is why I am applying to become a pet sitter. I have experience caring for my own animals throughout my life as well as fostering animals while they waited for their forever homes. I am looking to fill my days with caring for animals while my children are at school. I am available between 8:30am and 2:00pm M-F and would also be available Sundays throughout the day.
