“Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

What impressed me most was how attentive he was to my dogs’ individual needs. One of my girls is known for occasionally skipping meals, and rather than simply noting that she didn’t eat, Justin took the time and effort to hand-feed her to encourage her to eat. He also noticed something seemed a little off with one of my dogs and reached out to check whether it was normal behavior, which showed me how observant and invested he is in the pets he cares for. My dogs clearly love him, and it’s obvious he genuinely enjoys spending time with them. I grew up with Shih Tzu’s and Labs able to take care of all. Right now I’m currently off of work looking to mainly walk dogs maybe in the evening or in the morning, especially on the weekends, weekdays are OK too Right now I do all the maintenance for my dogs feeding walking letting them out. I also care for my sister’s two dogs. She lives down the road. I feed them and walk them as well.
