“Kelly stayed at my house with my cat for 10 nights, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Super proactive in communication, sent pics and updates daily, left the house in great shape (I really couldn't tell anyone had been here!) and was flexible in the end when my travel plans changed due to weather. Oh, and I could tell she genuinely enjoyed hanging out with my cat, which makes it all the better. Hope to be able to hire her for future needs!”

During his stay with the dogs at my home, Thomas provided thoughtful and consistent updates, along with sharing photos of the pups. He followed my dog care routine closely and also seemed to be very knowledgeable about dog behaviors and was so patient with my dogs’ quirks. About: I’ve had 4 dogs in my life and have taken care of family friend pets since I was 12. I am a very calm sitter and have an excellent attention to detail. I am a graduate student who is usually on campus between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. I am flexible to come by before/after and house sit if need be! I take my client’s pets on walks, feed them regularly, give them treats and belly rubs. I also enjoy just spending quality time with my clients pets and will spend time relaxing with them and making them feel comfortable! I am really good with plants and can help out around the house if requested!

I love to be around animals, and I'm excited to care for yours like they're mine while you're away! I'm prepared to meet your pet's needs where they're at, from providing multiple walks a day, or just being a calm presence in the room to ease loneliness. I'm working part-time at the moment, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet, especially in the afternoons and evenings. I'm happy to take in mail/packages, water plants, or do any other necessary tasks while you are away as well!

About: I have had dogs since a very young age. I have worked with young dogs, adult dogs, and elderly dogs. I have experience feeding, walking, and playing with dogs. I also have experience administering medicine in pill or syringe form, as well as caring for dogs with epilepsy. I work a 9-5 Monday through Friday, so during the week I would be able to stop by in the early morning, after work, and in the evening. During the weekends, however, I am completely free. I follow any directions the primary caregiver leaves for me, prioritizing keeping the pet's routine as consistent as possible. I will work with the caregiver to ensure they best experience for both them and their furry friends.

That means I have a flexible schedule for you and your pets! I can provide daily drop-ins for any amount of days, or can stay in your home with your pet(s) for up to 4 days. When I am caring for your pets in your home my priority is maintaining their familiar routine to keep stress levels low. ----- Dogs ----- Safety & Exercise: During walks, I always use a leash and practice defensive walking. This means if I see another dog approaching, I will cross the road or move off the sidewalk with your pup to prevent potential conflict or overstimulation. If your dog prefers a faster pace, I’m happy to go for a run with them. I also always supervise backyard time if you have a fenced backyard area. Playtime: For high-energy pups, I'm happy to play with them using their favorite toys. For older pups, I can do gentle playtime and always love couch snuggles (only if they’re allowed on the furniture!). Crating: I follow your house rules. I do not typically use crates unless specifically requested as part of your training or safety routine. ----- Cats ----- Safety & trust: I will follow your cats' lead. I never pick up cats or invade their personal space unless invited by them. If they want to play or receive cuddles, I will be honored to do so! Indoor/outdoor dynamics: I have experience working with indoor and indoor/outdoor cats. Cleanliness & feeding: I clean litter boxes as soon as they're soiled, and will follow your feeding instructions. I've worked with cats that free-feed and those that have scheduled feedings.
