“Thomas is an excellent pet sitter. First off, we had a meet and greet where we each had a chance to talk about the dogs and ask questions. During his stay with the dogs at my home, Thomas provided thoughtful and consistent updates, along with sharing photos of the pups. He followed my dog care routine closely and also seemed to be very knowledgeable about dog behaviors and was so patient with my dogs’ quirks. I felt at ease knowing the pups are being taken care of so well. He also left the house clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Thomas and would hire him again anytime!”
“Kelly stayed at my house with my cat for 10 nights, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Super proactive in communication, sent pics and updates daily, left the house in great shape (I really couldn't tell anyone had been here!) and was flexible in the end when my travel plans changed due to weather. Oh, and I could tell she genuinely enjoyed hanging out with my cat, which makes it all the better. Hope to be able to hire her for future needs!”

“Salem was absolutely amazing for Oliver and did everything that we asked and more! She was very communicative and gave us total peace of mind while we were far far away from home!”

“Meredith has been absolutely incredible as our house and catsitter over a week-long trip. We have a somewhat complicated situation (some of our cats don't get along), and she's navigated that wonderfully. She provided many pictures and detailed summaries to help us understand how they've been doing and has been responsive to suggestions or requests along the way. Meredith really went above and beyond, and I would happily recommend her services and hope to work with her again in the future.”

“Claire stayed our home with 5 dogs, not an easy task, and did OUTSTANDING. Thank you Claire for watching our 2 dogs, and 3 foster dogs. We really appreciate your help, especially on short notice.”

“Alekx has stayed with our puppy twice now and was amazing! Very patient with puppy energy. We also came home to a pup who had been taught a few new skills and Alekx even gave our pup many hand me down toys from her own dog, some of which are our pups new favorites! Our dog hasn’t been alone yet, and Alekx was great about staying with her and even took her out to a park.”

“Joy was wonderful and thorough with my two boys! One is a senior and requires some extra/special care - Joy was wonderful. Lots of pictures and I came home to two happy dogs!”
“Rosa did an amazing jobs taking care of my girls when I reached out with a last minute request for an overnight stay. She was prompt, communicative, and I could tell the dogs were very well taken care of as well as my home. She provided plenty of updates and followed, feeding and medication instructions with attention to detail. Thank you so much for your help Rosa! The girls and I will talk to you again soon!”

“Chase and Clover had a wonderful vacation week with Jessica and Jonathan! We highly recommend them as conscientious and loving caregivers of fur babies. They were super receptive to our initial concerns that the separation anxiety might be a problem because we had not left our dogs for 5 years. From the initial meet and greet with Jessica and Jonathan, we knew Chase and Clover would be just fine. While we were gone, Jessica sent daily updates with pictures. It was clear from the pictures and daily accounts that both dogs were happy and having fun adventures with their new friends! Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our own family vacation without having to worry about our beloved pets.”

About: I’ve had 4 dogs in my life and have taken care of family friend pets since I was 12. I am a very calm sitter and have an excellent attention to detail. I am a graduate student who is usually on campus between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. I am flexible to come by before/after and house sit if need be! I take my client’s pets on walks, feed them regularly, give them treats and belly rubs. I also enjoy just spending quality time with my clients pets and will spend time relaxing with them and making them feel comfortable! I am really good with plants and can help out around the house if requested!
“Kassidy did an incredible job taking care of our dog and cat--and fish! She was a pleasure to interact with, super responsive, generous and flexible with last minute schedule changes, took our dog for long walks and kept us updated with great photographs and news about how the animals were doing-- and she even extended extra care, love and attention to the neighborhood cat who spends time on our front steps. It is clear that she loves animals and is a gifted caretaker. The pets were happy, calm and well when we got home and the house was in perfect shape when we got home. I can't say enough good things about Kassidy's care for our pets--I recommend her as a pet sitter as highly as it's possible to!!!!!”

“Melody showed such great care for my dog today! She was great about sharing photos and video updates throughout the day and that was so thoughtful of her. I can tell Nola had a blast with her today! Can’t wait until the next visit!”

“We were very satisfied with Paola. She was easy to get along with and she was very calm with our active dog. We would book her again when she is available. Rita and Paige Tuttle”

“Sia is a wonderful dog sitter - great communicator - asked very good questions in advance and sent me lots of pictures and updates. I knew that my dog was in great hands and she was very conscientious about her feeding and walk routine. My house was in great shape when I returned, which was a lovely bonus. I have already asked Sia to stay during the next trip.”

“Amber was fabulous house sitting and taking care of our two cats and dog. Our dog is a rescue that has anxiety and separation issues. Amber was patient with him and won him over. Our house was exactly as we left it upon returning. We also received communication about our pets and pictures during Amber’s stay. I would recommend her for house/pet sitting needs”

Tanya took great care of our dog, Greta. She is a bit anxious usually but was instantly comfortable with Tanya who obviously knows how to connect with animals. Tanya took great care of our house as well and left it sparkling clean. We appreciated the frequent updates & pictures she sent and won’t hesitate to book her again when we need dogsitting!!

I cannot say enough about how Skylar was available to home sit for us with short notice. This was our first time with Rover.com and I was so worried that we would not be able to go on a cruise to the Bahamas for the weekend. Me and my husband had a Meet & Greet with her at our home. Our dog Loki immediately loved her. Skylar's kind and loving demeanor and respect for dogs and people made me want to be a better dog owner. She allows Loki to be himself and that is how she is able to get him to listen when necessary. I had complete trust in her watching Loki. She was flexible and asked me if she could do anything differently or do more for me and Loki. She is a student and very intelligent and has worked with dogs for years. Acts of kindness and respect are not a thing of the past with her.

Abigail was a wonderful dog and house sitter! She is kind, responsible, and communicative. When we had a meet and greet, she asked several thoughtful questions. Our dogs were happy when we returned from our trip and our house was left immaculate. We wish Abigail lived near us all the time (she was home for the summer from college). We recommend her without any reservations!
