“I highly recommend Aspen H. for dog/house overnight sitting! She just sat for our two dogs and did an excellent job. Aspen followed our instructions to the letter and had the extra responsibility with caring for our senior 13 year old. Our sheltie receives medication and has to be carried up and down the many steps to reach the backyard for bathroom breaks. Our shep mix has anxiety with thunderstorms and Aspen took this in stride. I was shocked to see that Aspen washed sheets and towels before leaving! Aspen had the patience with my welfare text checks and demonstrates warmth and understanding in her communication. About: Worked with Dogs and Cats both young and old. Along with a small range of farm animals like chickens and goats. Additionally I have works with some more unique pets like chinchillas. I have also done some house sitting off and on for a few years. Currently working part time over the summer so have more than enough time at all times throughout the week. I am free pretty much 24/7 all day every week but tend to like one day notice of booking. I have a small back yard that’s fenced in and more than enough space both within and outside my house. I also can let them out, feed, play, whatever they need if ever or whenever you would like me to go to your house.

The pets were also nice and calm when we got home indicating they were very well taken care of while we were out of town. Grace did a good job sitting with our senior pets, who all have their special needs. One of our dogs was a little startled when she arrived, and she reached out to let me know, so we were able to work through it. They (2 dogs and 1 cat) all bonded with her and she had a successful pet sit with us. She tried to understand their routines and reached out with questions. They clearly loved hanging out together with Grace from the pictures she shared over the four days she was with them. When we arrived home, our pets were relaxed and she had left the house in good order, which is always appreciated.
Heather was a last minute booking and we were a little nervous, having never used a service like Rover.com before. Once we met her, we immediately got a good feeling about her and our dog and cat were comfortable with her immediately. In fact, I mentioned Heather’s name when we got home and our dog cocked her head and raced to the door to see if Heather was coming. It was so nice to know their our fur babies were in such capable hands while we were away. We would hire Heather again in a heartbeat!
Tanya took great care of our dog, Greta. She is a bit anxious usually but was instantly comfortable with Tanya who obviously knows how to connect with animals. Wonderful sitter. Sara must have given the fur babies extra attention because when she came back to retrieve something that she forgot my dog went crazy wanting to see her and whimpered at the door when she left. A little hurt that my baby appears to have missed Sara more than me😂.
Olivia is just wonderful. She cared for our home and our two dogs with seamlessly! We have a 15 year old and 4 year old and she took special care of each. I knew she was a good fit from the moment she visited for our "meet and greet" as our old 15 year old lady dog actually wagged her tail. That doesn't happen with everyone! I cannot say enough about how Skylar was available to home sit for us with short notice.
