About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is that I genuinely care and love all animals and treat them with compassion. I talk with them throughout the day like the friends that they are and have a lot of experience caring for them! Because I don’t have pets of my own, you can be sure that yours will get all my love and attention 💕☺️ A little bit more about me is that I am a second year medical student who enjoys doing odd gigs on the side including taking care of pets! About: Worked with Dogs and Cats both young and old. Along with a small range of farm animals like chickens and goats. Additionally I have works with some more unique pets like chinchillas. I have also done some house sitting off and on for a few years. Currently working part time over the summer so have more than enough time at all times throughout the week. I am free pretty much 24/7 all day every week but tend to like one day notice of booking. I have a small back yard that’s fenced in and more than enough space both within and outside my house. I also can let them out, feed, play, whatever they need if ever or whenever you would like me to go to your house.

About: I have been pet sitting since 13 years old and I have been volunteering about three times a week at Orange County Animal Services where I walk and provide enrichment for cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals- dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, lizards, guinea pigs, and even rats. I have experience with all ages, behavior, and energy levels, as well as taking care of multiple animals at one time. I work at Green Beagle Lodge, a daycare and boarding facility where I oversee playgroups and do stuff like cleaning ears and eyes, balming paws, brushing, etc. I work three 12 hours shifts and week, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, as well as Thursday evenings from 4pm to 7pm. I am available Thursdays before 3pm and all day Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. I am available for drop in visits, such as a couple time a day to simply feed and walk your dog or cat (or other animal). I can also do more involved pet care, such as staying overnight and hanging out with your fur baby all day!

We had another wonderful experience with Melissa. From her daily updates, I could tell that my cat became more and more interested in her and truly trusted her. On the last day, I even saw him showing his belly and asking for affection. (My shy cat only shows his belly to people he completely trusts.) Sarah is truly a gem. She stopped by throughout the weekend to care for our cat and was wonderfully reliable — always on time for feedings and making sure Dua got her medication. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
