About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is that I genuinely care and love all animals and treat them with compassion. I talk with them throughout the day like the friends that they are and have a lot of experience caring for them! Because I don’t have pets of my own, you can be sure that yours will get all my love and attention 💕☺️ A little bit more about me is that I am a second year medical student who enjoys doing odd gigs on the side including taking care of pets! I have time to do drop-ins after school/on weekends and house sit (I will be at school for 4-8 hours a day) while you’re away. In my care, I feed pets, give them water (especially in this NC heat), walk them, talk to them kindly, pet them, and sometimes even sleep with them depending on the comfort level of the owner.
“Eva is absolutely wonderful! My dog is usually a bit uneasy around new people, but within five minutes of meeting Eva, he was completely calm—she just has an incredibly soothing disposition. Not only is she fantastic with animals, but she’s also an incredibly reliable and flexible professional. When we missed our flight, she stepped in at the very last minute to cover an extra shift without hesitation. We felt so comfortable knowing our dog was in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Bailey is amazing. Stayed in touch the entire week and Socks loved spending time with her playing in the garden. Loved the photos! Definitely going to be our go to dog sitter”

“Betsy is great! Very reliable with good communication. She went above and beyond making sure the house temperature was comfortable when our A/C went out and retrieving our cat when he slipped out. I will definitely hire her again.”

“Meaghan was extremely attentive to my cats behavior and needs, and was extremely responsive and communicative via the Rover app. I truly appreciated her thoroughness, care and love she gave my kitties!”

“Amanda was excellent, reliable and gentle with my newly adopted stray cat. She provided detailed reports and lots of photo updates daily. She’s also very personable and trustworthy! I will definitely contact her for kitty care when I next need. Thank you, Amanda!”

“Emilia was great with chowder! She was on time and very prompt and followed all the instructions I gave her! We will definitely be booking with her again and she was great and very reliable.”

About: Hi! I'm a full time stay at home mom of two kids and a pet parent of two furry family members, Togo (our beloved dog) and Ninja our cat. Animals are a huge part of our everyday life and I know how important it is to find someone reliable and caring to look after your pet because I want the same level of care for my own. I've always loved animals and caring for them has naturally become part of my everyday life. Along with several years of dog walking and pet sitting experience, I volunteer with local dog shelters where I've successfully completed different training programs in dog behavior, safe handling and basic obedience. I'm comfortable working with dogs of all sizes including rescue dogs who may need extra patience and love. Since I'm home full time your pet gets lots of attention throughout the day, frequently potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles and lots of love. I stick closely to routines, follow your instructions and pay attention to body language so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I love sending photos updates and messages so you can see how things are going while you're away. My goal is simple: give your pet loving, reliable care and treat them like part of our family. I'm currently a stay home mom of two kids (10 and 13) and our two furry best friends Togo and Ninja. I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets and give them the attention they need. I have a big fenced yard and a gentle, funny and loving dog, Togo and our cat Ninja who likes to sleep all day long!

“Natalie was GREAT!! Our cats LOVED her, probably more than they like us even! She was able to coax our very curmudgeonly elderly cat out from her hiding place and interact with her on each of the home visits! Natalie took great photos and shared pertinent and expansive notes about her home visits, too, which put us at ease as we vacationed. Would definitely book again! (Oh, and she brought in our delivered packages while we were away, without prompting, which was much appreciated!)”

“We had a family emergency and Dana was able to watch the cats last minute. She is absolutely wonderful and it was such a relief to know our cats were in good hands. I can’t thank her enough.”

“Rosa dropped in and walked my anxious dog during the day while I was out of town. She sent detailed updates after each drop in, which eased my mind as I was far from home. She followed all instructions perfectly. I would absolutely reach out to Rosa again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of different pets my whole life! I’ve always had a ledger dog, but love animals in all shapes and sizes. I am an avid walker, and would love to take your animal out on walks or stay with them during a vacation! I am starting my nursing job the 20th and am available most days that I am off after I start. I am an early riser and usually go on a walk in the morning and throughout my day! I am in an apartment with lots of trails and dog parks within walking distance. My complex is extremely pet friendly, with a dog park/ play area on the property.

About: Worked with Dogs and Cats both young and old. Along with a small range of farm animals like chickens and goats. Additionally I have works with some more unique pets like chinchillas. I have also done some house sitting off and on for a few years. Currently working part time over the summer so have more than enough time at all times throughout the week. I am free pretty much 24/7 all day every week but tend to like one day notice of booking. I have a small back yard that’s fenced in and more than enough space both within and outside my house. I also can let them out, feed, play, whatever they need if ever or whenever you would like me to go to your house.
“Samantha did a great job watching my cat Mister. I super appreciated her spending time with him, sending me pictures and taking care of my flowers while I was gone. I'll definitely be booking her again. Thanks Samantha!”

“Dafna arrived on time every day and was easy and pleasant to communicate with. She followed my instructions and made an effort to interact with my sometimes skittish kitties! I will definitely rebook in the future.”

We had another wonderful experience with Melissa. From her daily updates, I could tell that my cat became more and more interested in her and truly trusted her. On the last day, I even saw him showing his belly and asking for affection. (My shy cat only shows his belly to people he completely trusts.) Thank you so much for treating him with such kindness and care. We truly appreciate everything you do.

Sarah is truly a gem. She stopped by throughout the weekend to care for our cat and was wonderfully reliable — always on time for feedings and making sure Dua got her medication. She also follows the golden rule of cat‑sitting: always send the humans plenty of photos and videos 😊. We’ll happily have Sarah look after Dua again anytime she’s up for it.

Caleb was an excellent cat sitter. He was easy to communicate and work with and helped us out on extremely short notice (<1 week). Caleb spent time with our cat and sent several pictures a day as part of his updates. He went above and beyond by sweeping up after our fur ball and even buying us more trash bags! I will not hesitate to rebook the next time we travel.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eubanks. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
