About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who would so excited to meet your furry family members! I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was ten years old and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I am also a proud dog and cat mom, so I know firsthand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for them while you are away. During my undergraduate years at Tulane University, I volunteered at an animal shelter in New Orleans, where I helped walk and care for shelter dogs. I also had the opportunity to work with service animals through my university, which gave me additional experience understanding the importance of patience, consistency, responsibility, and following each animal’s individual needs and routines. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNC-Chapel Hill. I’m responsible, dependable, patient, and compassionate, and pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy doing outside of school. During the week, I am completely available on Fridays and can usually accommodate morning and evening check-ins Monday–Friday, with the exception of Wednesdays, when my availability is more limited. I’m happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for you and your pet’s routine! 🐶🐱 I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment, which is why I provide in home check-ins and care at your pet’s home. About: Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs. Whether it be family, friends, or neighbors, there was always a pet nearby for me to visit, care for, or walk. Even in my household, I can't remember a time where there wasn't a dog running around. In addition, I've volunteered numerous times in dog shelters---caring for the less fortunate animals in our towns and giving them the love they deserve. This has shaped a lot of who I am and has made me into the animal lover I am today. I know the ins and outs of dog behavior, have dabbled in puppy training, and am accustomed to senior dog care. I look forward to getting to meet each of your furry friends! I am currently a full time student, my daily schedule is built around my classes. However, I have multiple gaps in the day and am readily available to help throughout the day for walks or check ins. I am flexible with talking about schedules and can work with anything! I am very attentive to what each pet needs and will adhere to what you know best about your home. I am comfortable crating dogs, taking them out for walks often if a yard isn't available, and even just caring for them inside. I don't have a house that allows taking in pets but I can care in the best way for your house.

About: Worked with Dogs and Cats both young and old. Along with a small range of farm animals like chickens and goats. Additionally I have works with some more unique pets like chinchillas. That means I have a flexible schedule for you and your pets! I can provide daily drop-ins for any amount of days, or can stay in your home with your pet(s) for up to 4 days. When I am caring for your pets in your home my priority is maintaining their familiar routine to keep stress levels low. ----- Dogs ----- Safety & Exercise: During walks, I always use a leash and practice defensive walking. This means if I see another dog approaching, I will cross the road or move off the sidewalk with your pup to prevent potential conflict or overstimulation. If your dog prefers a faster pace, I’m happy to go for a run with them. I also always supervise backyard time if you have a fenced backyard area. Playtime: For high-energy pups, I'm happy to play with them using their favorite toys. For older pups, I can do gentle playtime and always love couch snuggles (only if they’re allowed on the furniture!). Crating: I follow your house rules. I do not typically use crates unless specifically requested as part of your training or safety routine. ----- Cats ----- Safety & trust: I will follow your cats' lead. I never pick up cats or invade their personal space unless invited by them. If they want to play or receive cuddles, I will be honored to do so! Indoor/outdoor dynamics: I have experience working with indoor and indoor/outdoor cats. Cleanliness & feeding: I clean litter boxes as soon as they're soiled, and will follow your feeding instructions. I've worked with cats that free-feed and those that have scheduled feedings.
