I cannot care for pets in my home currently, but in clients’ homes I make sure to spend time with the animals and usually play with them in the yard (if possible) and take them on walks around the neighborhood or drive them to the park to go for a hike.
Information Emi G. would like to know about your pet
I need to know any medications, allergies, or phobias of the pet I am watching to make sure they stay happy and healthy. I’d also like to know what time and amount of food your pet eats, how often they need to be walked/let outside, and anything else important for taking care of them.
A typical day
I love to go for walks with dogs and play fetch with them if you have a yard! I always make sure to give lots of love to the animals I am sitting for and make sure they get all the pets, play time, and attention possible.

Pet care experience
I’ve been dog-sitting for the past four years, and I grew up with multiple Australian Shepherds in my house. I am a big runner and love taking dogs hiking and running with me too. This past summer I worked as a vet tech at an animal hospital back home in Nashville and raised a new puppy of my own. I have dog sat for new puppies and older dogs with multiple medications/ointments and everything in between!

Emi G. is awesome! From the moment I met her, she made both me and my fur baby comfortable. Prior to meeting, I was quite nervous. It was the first time leaving my 11 month old, 9 pound puppy. Emi G took great care of Ziggy and left my home exactly as she found it. I will definitely contact Emi G when I need a pet sitter again.

Emi was amazing. Greatest feedback we can give is that our dogs were as happy and playful when we returned as when we left almost three weeks ago. She was very communicative, thoughtful and forthright. She has worked as a vet tech and we were comfortable leaving our one dog that has epilepsy with her. He requires meds every 8 hours and she was conscientious on getting his meds on time every day. Also, our dogs are very shy and she quickly established a rapport with them. She asked very intelligent and insightful questions in preparation for her stay here. She left the house very clean as well. Cannot recommend enough!
