It was really easy coordinating pick-up and drop-off because Emily was really easygoing and flexible with times. When she noticed the cats weren’t eating as much, she realized their food was near a cold window and moved everything to a warmer spot. She relocated all their things—food bowls, litter boxes, and water fountain—to the warmest room so they’d be comfortable. That kind of initiative really impressed us. She paid attention to each pet’s unique personality. She noticed Max loves carrying toys in his mouth (he even brought one on a walk and dropped it somewhere along the way!), that Dino meows toward the supply bags, and caught adorable moments like Ashly sleeping with her head hanging off the couch arm. She knew exactly which brush Dino goes crazy for and that Ashly loves being rolled over for pets. She was also patient and gentle with our shyest cat, Kailas, who spent most of his time hiding under the bed. She found ways to bond with him on his terms—leaving lollipop treats near him and noticing he’d quietly eat them when she wasn’t looking. By the end, she even had him eating from her hand! You can tell Alice genuinely loves animals. Her updates were full of warmth and personality that very often made us smile while we were reading them. We had complete peace of mind knowing our pets were in such attentive, loving hands. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”

I currently work Full time in Chapel Hill as a Lead Technician/Manager role in Veterinary Medicine , I work the hours 9:30am-12 pm 2pm -5pm Monday Through Friday, available and flexible hours ! I have a Fenced yard and separate areas for when animals are kept in my home. I have two large friendly dogs that are kept separate from anyone boarding. We also have 1 cat in the home, if your pet is not cat friendly no worries we will make the required arrangements!

About: I’ve spent my whole life around animals since I was a kid. That being said, I’m comfortable around dogs, cats, exotic pets, birds, reptiles- you name it, I’m a huge animal lover! When I moved away for college I brought my childhood dog with me who I had since she was a puppy. Unfortunately she faced some health issues as she got older, but I was lucky enough to be able to care for her until she was 17! Because of my time spent with her, I am comfortable and experienced with dogs from the puppy age to seniors, have administered pills and topical medication numerous times, have no problem with bathing and grooming, etc. I also fostered a dog and started up my rover after my dog passed and since then I’ve had the pleasure of caring for many more fur babies. No pet is a challenge for me! I work full time during the week, but am looking to fill my free time with a serotonin boost from your pup! I love dogs and as a dog owner, I know that it’s sometimes hard to fit 3 walks a day into a crazy packed schedule, or spontaneously take a day trip somewhere, so I’d like to help! I am typically available for evening walks during the week but and completely flexible on weekends! It is my goal to ensure you that I will be respectful of your home and privacy, as well as your dogs normal schedule. I am reliable and trust worthy, and can adapt to any dogs personality, whether they are shy, reactive, hyper, or sleepy! I’ve walked dogs as small as 5 pounds to as big as 90, so no dog will be a challenge! I’m very attentive while on walks to make sure your dog does not hurt themself/ eat something they shouldn’t/ mess with another dog. I can be flexible with any precautions I’d need to take with your dog whether that be medication, assistance with mobility or anything else! Your dogs comfort is my first priority!
