Availability
I'm normally available from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm. I take my daughter to school in the morning, and pick her up in the afternoon when my wife is working. We can be flexible with time, but we occasionally ask for flexibility as well.

Safety, trust & environment
During the day, the dogs stay in a fenced yard that provides over a half acre of land with lots of trees for shade, and plenty of fresh water. At night and during inclement weather, the dogs are crated indoors. We have 36 inch crates for small to medium-sized dogs, and 42 inch crates for large dogs.

Information Gregg B. would like to know about your pet
Please regard all booking requests as an acknowledgement that your dog(s) do not have a contagious illness, and have up to date vaccination records; including the Bordetella vaccine against kennel cough. We can only accept dogs that get along with others, stay within the fence, and are able to stay quiet in a crate. Unfortunately, we don't accept booking requests for pit bull terriers, or other types of fighting breeds.
A typical day
The dogs are taken outside after 8am, and are crated indoors before it gets dark. Our young, high-energy guests begin the day with the morning zoomies, but dogs that don't want to participate are respected. They also do a lot of sniffing, & exploring as well. When it's time for a break, the dogs can lie under the shade of a large tree or near the front fence to get some sun. My daughter and I invented some safe and fun games for the dogs that are appropriate for their physical abilities. We have the most fun with other high energy dogs, but we can also entertain the little and older ones as well.

Welcome to Cooperland!
Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs for friends and neighbors longer than we've had the internet, and we added Cooper to our family shortly after moving to Chapel Hill in 2020. We've been welcoming dogs for daycare and boarding with Rover since 2022, and enjoy providing them with a home away from home.
Reviews

Gregg has been our favorite pet sitter during our time in NC. He is very professional, and his house has a beautiful and big fenced yard in a quiet area. We reliably received happy and fun pictures of Molly while we were away and that gave us peace of mind. I can’t recommend Gregg enough!
Gregg takes great care of Scout! She loves going to Cooperland.

Gregg was excellent. I now know who I will leave Toffee when I visit the area.

I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Gregg. There was a nice shady fenced in back yard. He sent pictures of my dog enjoying herself.
