About: My journey with cats started when I was 21, when my first cat, Kuku, basically “adopted” me from the side of the road. He became one of the most important companions in my life, and the time we spent together was some of the happiest years I’ve had. Kuku had chronic health issues, so caring for him taught me a lot about responsible cat care. I learned how to give medication on schedule, monitor eating habits, and check litter box output to keep track of his health. That experience made me very attentive to small changes in a cat’s behavior or condition. After Kuku passed away, I became involved in rescuing stray cats and helping with TNR (trap-neuter-return) efforts. Later, I adopted four more cats, so my home has definitely become a true cat household. Because of this experience, I’m comfortable with cats of all personalities—shy, playful, senior, or cats with medical needs. I understand that every cat is different, and I always prioritize patience, safety, and making sure they feel secure while their owner is away. We also had a high energy Australian shepherd that had to go boot camp a few times…that being said I understand their training is very important to keep up so I am open and receptive to all their training and dietary needs. I am available through August most days. About: I am a 20-year veterinary technician dedicated to safe, stress-free pet care. I treat every pet like my own—with love, patience, and professional know-how At your service! I currently work Full time in Chapel Hill as a Lead Technician/Manager role in Veterinary Medicine , I work the hours 9:30am-12 pm 2pm -5pm Monday Through Friday, available and flexible hours ! I have a Fenced yard and separate areas for when animals are kept in my home. I have two large friendly dogs that are kept separate from anyone boarding. We also have 1 cat in the home, if your pet is not cat friendly no worries we will make the required arrangements!
