I have loved dogs all my life- as a dog & cat owner, an animal rescuer, an animal shelter volunteer, and a dog sitter for many happy years…I am tuned in to their emotional needs, and provide continual attention & affection, which helps create a bond of trust & comfort. Care for senior dogs, or special needs dogs, is happily provided.

I ultimately didn't use Denise because my sweet pup died prior to the set time. However, I have to say her kindness and sincerity moved me and led to feel safe should I have needed her care.
Denise took wonderful care of my excitable corgi. I could tell right away that he was going to love staying with her in her peaceful home. I would definitely book with Denise again.

Schedule
I have a fairly open schedule, so most requests are easily arranged. When I am caring for dogs, they are my primary focus- I want to give them a very comforting, truly happy experience. I am gentle and kind, and dogs tend to love me, & I them.

Safety, trust & environment
I am completely committed to caring for dogs in my home. Lots of affection & interaction helps create a bond between us. I always stay with them in our fenced dog yard-and we have lots of street walking available. If your dog likes dog parks, I am happy to take them- there are 2 just a short drive away. Indoor play provides fun & activity, too. I want them to have a relaxed, comfortable, and loving time.
A typical day
I am always with them as they roam in our wooded, fenced yard and we can walk in the neighborhood which dogs love to explore. Dog park outings are an option, plus lots of cuddles, and full attention to their moods & needs. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, so it is easy to relax together at home.
