Supporting Pittsboro and surrounding areas, I provide drop-in visits and dog walking services designed around your pet’s comfort and routine. As a proud dog mom, I understand the importance of finding reliable, compassionate care while you’re away. Working from home allows me to offer flexible scheduling, including midday walks and weekday visits. You can expect daily photo updates, text messages, and optional video check-ins so you can stay connected with your pet. I’m experienced with a variety of animals, including those who experience separation anxiety, and I take pride in offering calm, loving attention to each one. In addition to pet care, I’m happy to collect mail, bring in packages, and ensure your home stays secure during your time away. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter who will love your pets like her own—I’d love to meet you and your furry family! I have a dog of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone dependable and kind. I work from home, which gives me lots of flexibility for midday visits during the week. You’ll always get daily photos and updates, and I’m happy to do video check-ins too! I’ve cared for pets with separation anxiety, so if your furry friend needs extra love and reassurance, they’ll be in good hands. I can also grab your mail or bring in packages while you’re away. About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

Maho and her beautiful dog Stella were so wonderful. They took excellent care of our two small dogs when we were visiting family in the area and needed help on a weekend. Getting pictures and videos along the day was the best. Her help was truly priceless.

Ashley took care of our Dobby in the most amazing way we could ever imagine. She understood what’s need for the pup beforehand , and was very informed. She kept us informed on how he is doing without even us having to ask for it. She even helped us to load and unload Dobby’s things in the car. She was amazing! I highly highly recommended her and I am so confident that she would take care of any dog like her own as she loves doing it.

About: hey folks! myself, my partner jeff and my 10 lb shih tzu mix poppy live in north pittsboro on a solid piece of property :) i grew up on a farm so i have a lifetime of experience raising animals of all sorts. i worked as a dog walker/caretaker in san francisco from 2013-2018 and again in seattle from 2018-2020 and los angeles from 2023-2025. my girl poppy has been attacked a few times so we're a little pickier about who comes to stay with us but small-medium size dogs (or real mellow large dogs) are usually just fine :) feel free to drop us a line if you need some help with your furry loved ones! - erin i work remotely so i have a ton of time to hang with them during the day between meetings, etc. will be with them 24/7 :) we have a ton of places for the babies to snuggle in and make a bed for themselves. we have lots of toys and poppy (my girl) is an excellent little hostess. our property has a ton of places to romp around and play and we have a fun walk around the loop of our neighborhood i take the dogs on regularly.

About: Hi! I’m Beth, a lifelong animal lover with over 6 years of professional pet sitting experience. I’ve had pets for most of my life—dogs, cats, and everything in between—and I truly believe pets are more than just animals—they’re family. During college, I worked at PetSmart, where I gained hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets and learning how to handle all kinds of personalities and needs. Since then, I’ve been pet sitting for wonderful families and treating their pets just like I do my own—with love, patience, and lots of attention. I also work from home, which means your pet will get near-constant companionship and care throughout the day. Whether it’s a potty break, a cuddle on the couch, or a mid-day walk, I’ll be there to meet their needs and keep them happy and comfortable. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets, which is why I’m committed to providing dependable, affectionate care and frequent updates to give you total peace of mind. Let me know how I can help—I can’t wait to meet your furry family! I work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to get out for midday check-ins, walks, snuggles, and play time, whatever your pet needs. I have a fenced yard and a sweet goldendoodle who just wants to be friends with every person and dog she meets. I’m in a great neighborhood with lots of trails for walking and exercise. I am also very comfortable with tailoring my care to your pet’s specific needs. I am a very calm, gentle person and can help even your anxious pets feel comfortable while you’re away. I know it’s hard to be away from your pet and am happy to send updates as often as you like.

About: I have taken care of my family's pets for 26 years. I just recently lost my dog and am looking to meet new furry friends and help families in need of pet-setting. I have taken care of many neighbors, friends and families' pets, but would love to spend much more time getting to know your beloved pets. I just retired as a Physical Education teacher and coach after 44 years of service to young people, therefore I am ready to dog walk, pet sit and board your furry family pets. I am home every day and have a lot of free time to spend with your pets! I love to spend time outdoors, so your pet would be extremely happy when the weather is nice. I live in a two story home in a very pet friendly neighborhood. The streets are not busy, making dog-walking very safe and easy. I have almost two acres of land...perfect for running around and playing! I look forward to being with your furry friends full time! I retired as a teacher/coach for 44 years and my husband works from home M-F. We are available to give your pups plenty of attention. I treat every clients pet as if they are my own. I give plenty of belly rubs, let them sit with me on furniture and I have a guest suite with a lower bed that I sleep with pets if they wish. They have run of my home. If a parent wants them to sleep in a bed or crate, I honor that as well. We love having pets since we lost our family pet.

About: I have own dogs my whole life. I have one Rottweiler and a Yorkie/Minpinch. My Rottweiler is very friendly. They both love people and other dogs. Both of my dogs are very we’ll behaved. They would love to play with your fur babies. Yes I consider my dogs family, and I would treat you dogs as family also. My husband and I live on 5 acres so your dogs will have lots of room to run and will be watched with love, and well taken care of. You will not be disappointed when you pick them up. I love animals and treat other peoples animals like they're my own. We have a fence in area. It's not attached to our home, but it is well shaded with 3 cement stalls where they can go lay down if they wanted too. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. It works great cause its really long so if I needed to step on it I could to stop them. I Iam looking forward to meeting you and and taking care of your fur babies . I am open 7 days a week.Animals are my passion, snd want to do it full time. I will beable to take them out when ever needed and exercise just like i do with my own. my husband is home all day,so they wouldn't be left alone I have 5 acres we finally have s fence in area so your dog will be safe, and will beable to get plenty of exercise. I also have a long traing leash so I can play with them without putting in the fence in area. I used it for my rottweilers. It works great because it's really long so you can jump on it if they start to take off. Since we have a fence in area now, when they in it ,I will check on them periodically to make sure they are ok. I also will get in the fence wirh them to play with them. I would never leave them out in yhe heat or cold to long. Like i said i treat other animals just like they are my own .

Mellie had an amazing time going to doggy daycare with Sara!! She is a very anxious girl typically but was always super excited at drop off and had the best time playing and sunbathing in the backyard and napping in the various cozy spots throughout Sara’s home. We are so grateful to Evelin for taking care of our sweet Bichon, Lily, while we attended a family funeral. It was such a comfort to know that Lily was in loving, capable hands during such a difficult time. Evelin went above and beyond to make sure Lily was happy and comfortable, sending us updates that gave us peace of mind. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. Thank you, Evelin, for being there for us and for treating Lily like one of your own. We couldn’t have asked for better care.

About: Hi! My husband and I live in Apex. We have 4 kids, ages 9 and 12 (two sets of twins so only 2 ages!), and one cavapoo. I am a nurse and now work as a case manager from home. Pets have always been a huge part of my life and I’ve passed my love for animals onto my children! We lost our 4 year old goldendoodle to lymphoma and that left a huge void for our family. While we are not quite ready to permanently welcome a new family member, we have a lot of love to give your pet when you are away. You can leave your pet knowing they will be treated just like our own with lots of rubs, cuddles, and walks! Our dog, Max, loves a playmate. Our children are great with animals as well. We have raised our pets from puppies, taken care of family members’ pets when they are traveling, and checked in on neighbors dogs when they are away. There is always someone ready and willing to play with or walk your pup. I work from home so am available to provide your pet the care they deserve. On the occasion I have a meeting out of the house, I am able to schedule it around the needs of your pet as I have complete flexibility over scheduling. My husband is a teacher so is also free to help by early afternoon. We do not have a fenced yard, but there are sidewalks, greenways, and dog parks all around us. We take our own dog on multiple walks per day, so are often outside. We have an open floor plan with lots of room for playing fetch. Because we have raised 2 dogs from puppies, we have a crate available if needed as well.

About: With over 30 years of hands-on experience with dogs, I bring a deep love and understanding to pet care that sets me apart. From childhood, I’ve walked, babysat, and house-sat dogs for family and friends, starting around age 10. I’ve participated in weening several litters of puppies, giving me specialized skills in puppy training and socialization. Recently, I provided regular care, including house-sitting, for two senior Pekingese, expertly managing their unique needs with patience and attentiveness. As the owner of a collie-pit bull mix I raised from a puppy, I’ve honed my ability to connect with dogs, intuitively understanding their needs and behaviors. My lifelong passion for doggie friendships, combined with my extensive experience and knack for dog whispering, ensures your pets receive exceptional, tailored care. As a self-employed dog owner, I have the flexibility to craft my schedule around the needs of my collie-pit bull mix, ensuring regular walks, consistent feeding times, and trips to the park. This same adaptability extends to the dogs I care for professionally. I prioritize being present as often as needed, tailoring my availability to provide walks, feedings, and quality time that align with each pet’s routine. My self-directed schedule allows me to offer reliable, attentive care, ensuring every dog feels loved and supported. Whether caring for dogs in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and a nurturing environment tailored to each pet’s needs. In my home, my collie-pit bull mix enjoys a comfortable routine, sleeping with me and getting ample outdoor time in a secure backyard in addition to walks and park visits. In clients’ homes, I follow the owner’s guidelines and the dog’s preferences, respecting rules for sleeping arrangements, dietary needs, or special instructions. I’m diligent about maintaining a safe and clean environment, promptly cleaning up messes or pee-pads and securing items that could be chewed or ingested. Regular outings ensure dogs stay comfortable and reduce accidents. In case of a health issue, like vomiting, I’d immediately contact the owner and their vet for guidance. And of course, I build trust with plenty of scritches, tummy rubs, play and attentive care, ensuring every dog feels safe and loved.

About: We have taken care of pets since kids! We enjoy making your pet feel at home. We have a 3 year old lab named Blu. She is the sweetest dog ever and loves to play! You can trust that your pet will be safe and happy while you are away! I currently work part time, while my girlfriend works fully from home. This allows her to take after our dog Blu and watch over your dog all day! We do 3 hours a day of park play with potty breaks in between. Our dog is crate trained while we leave for periods longer than a few hours at a time. If your dog is also crate trained, we are happy to do the same. For house trained dogs we are happy to leave them out to free roam among request.
