About: I’ve been training and caring for dogs for over 15 years, and I’m excited to welcome new furry friends into our home for daycare and boarding! Your pup can expect plenty of playtime, attention, cuddles, and, of course, couch naps. I’m home most of the day, aside from occasional outings for the kids’ activities, so there’s lots of time for supervision, companionship, and snuggles. Our resident dog has grown up fostering 25+ dogs a year since he was just six months old! He loves having other dogs around, whether that means playing together or lounging on the couch. He’s very submissive and easygoing and gets along well with other friendly dogs. Our kids have grown up around foster dogs, too, so having dogs as part of our family is nothing new! With my 15+ years of experience, I’m comfortable working with puppies and shy dogs, and I have plenty of experience with crate training, house training, and basic obedience. I’m happy to help reinforce good habits using a patient, positive approach. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or happiest curled up on the couch, they’ll be welcomed as part of our family and spoiled with lots of love while you’re away! About: Hi, I’m Susanne! 🐾 Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, we had all kinds of pets – guinea pigs, mice, hamsters and rabbits – and my mom had a big wolfdog mix named Sam. Later, back in Germany, we had our own small cat breeding program, so caring for animals and getting to know their different personalities and needs has been part of my everyday life for many years. Dogs have always been around us too. Many of our friends and family members have dogs, and over the years we've often helped each other out with dog sitting, walks and overnight stays. Today, we share our home with our Golden Retriever Molly and our two older kids, who are already in their tween and teen years and have grown up around animals. We're an active family and love spending time outside, so walks and fresh air are a natural part of our everyday life. I'm happy to adapt to your dog's usual routine as much as possible – whether that means longer walks, a quieter day, playtime, cuddle time or simply relaxing at home. When your dog stays with me, I'll be the one personally taking care of them throughout their entire stay. From feeding and walks to playtime, supervision, and daily routines, all pet care is handled exclusively by me. My husband Michael works from home and is often around, and our two older kids are very used to being around animals. However, neither my husband nor our children assist with caring for our guest dogs. Her two yellow labs are extremely sweet and my dog loves to play with them. This was my first time using Rover given my pup is so young. Cynthia took the time to talk to me about how she handles the dog in a positive manner, never violent.
