About: I recently just lost my cat of 19.5 years, Paris (in photo). She filled my heart with so much joy and is the reason I fell in love with cats. We also have 3 other cats 12,10 and 4 who are all rescues we have loved on since they first came into our lives. I have experience with administering medication, including interventions fluids. “Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

About: Hi! My husband and I live in Apex. We have 4 kids, ages 10 and 13 (two sets of twins so only 2 ages!), and one cavapoo. I am a nurse and now work as a case manager from home. Pets have always been a huge part of my life and I’ve passed my love for animals onto my children! We lost our 4 year old goldendoodle to lymphoma and that left a huge void for our family. On the occasion I have a meeting out of the house, I am able to schedule it around the needs of your pet as I have complete flexibility over scheduling. My husband is a teacher so is also free to help by early afternoon. We do not have a fenced yard, but there are sidewalks, greenways, and dog parks all around us. About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My schedule can vary throughout the week, but with notice I can adjust very easily to be able to make time for your pets. I care for pets as they are my own. I personally have a dog and a cat who are my babies. I understand that trust is a big part of taking care of other pets. I value understanding the routine and habits that you have with your pets so that way it’s basically what you would already be doing or wanting to do with your pet

Since I work from home and do school online, I have plenty of time to give your pup lots of love, care, walks, and attention I have a secure fenced yard and 5 friendly dogs of my own, so if your pup enjoys socializing, they’ll have playmates. If not, I can easily keep them separate and make sure they’re comfortable

I'm always worried about people watching our dogs as they can be a handful, but they seamlessly blended in to Lisa home and family like they'd always been there. The whole family are clearly very experienced with dogs as they taught our boys a few commands to make feedings, etc. easier and took everything else in stride.
