Linda's home and property are perfect for hosting dogs- lovely and large fenced yard with various kennels and runs. So far my pup has enjoyed meeting Linda's smaller terriers, and I am sure all will go well with her Rottweilers as well when Linda thinks the time is right. Linda clearly has a passion for canines, my pup had a fantastic day with her!

Angela did a wonderful job looking after my very anxious, older dog - and sent me pics showing her settled in and calm on a day when I was quite concerned about her. I have already booked a 7 day boarding with her in June.

Ashley took care of our Dobby in the most amazing way we could ever imagine. She understood what’s need for the pup beforehand , and was very informed. She kept us informed on how he is doing without even us having to ask for it. She even helped us to load and unload Dobby’s things in the car. She was amazing! I highly highly recommended her and I am so confident that she would take care of any dog like her own as she loves doing it.

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages. I love spending quality time with pets, especially taking long walks to keep them active and happy. I am attentive to each pet’s needs, whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior dog, or a shy cat. What sets me apart is my dedication to making every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while providing exercise, attention, and plenty of fun during our walks. I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to care for pets. This allows me to provide regular attention, playtime, and multiple walks, ensuring each dog or cat feels loved and engaged while their owners are away. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care. At my home, pets have a secure, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of space to play and relax. I supervise all activities, provide regular meals and water, and ensure that walks are safe and enjoyable.Owners can trust that their pets are treated with love, attention, and respect at all times.

About: My own pet a Viszla named Buddy passed away recently. I raised and trained him since puppyhood to be a 'buddy' who accompanied my daughter and I everywhere in life: home, work, socials, etc. I miss him very much and hope to have a chance to provide the care and 'love' to your 'buddy' when your away that he or she needs. Currently semi-retired, living a simple healthy active lifestyle with some time and flexibility to provide the same for your four-legged family member while your away. I have a ranch-style home that doesn't have a lot of yard but is in a community with lots of walking, numerous pocket parks, other outdoor amenities and is close to the American Tobacco Trail.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 8 years now and I’ve taken care of many other animals as well throughout my entire life for friends and just on my own. I’ve always loved learning about different animals and it makes me happy to be able to make such a positive experience for others whether it’s training or just taking care of their pets! I’ve noticed it’s taught me a lot about myself as well which I never expected! I do have another job so my schedule varies but I set my rover availability around my work schedule so I’ll be able to give your pets my full attention ! I have a small backyard which isn’t fenced but usually will go on walks around the neighborhood and to dog parks. I allow animals on all the furniture and if your doing any type of home training with your pet that you’d like me to continue I’d love to try and keep them on whatever schedule they’re currently on .

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for my own senior pup has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with routines, gentle handling, medication reminders, and giving pets the extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I am also continuously improving my skills as a sitter—I take my dog to training classes and apply those lessons to the pets I care for. This has helped me learn about positive reinforcement, building trust, and managing different personalities and energy levels. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I provide calm, reliable, and loving care. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and every owner feel confident while they’re away. I am currently a full-time housewife, and after my child goes to school each day, I have plenty of free time to focus on caring for your dog. My schedule is very flexible on weekdays, which allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, and prompt communication. I’m also available for last-minute bookings and can adjust my day around your dog’s routine. Your pup will never feel rushed—I have the time and patience to give them the care, playtime, and comfort they need. I have a While I don’t have a fenced backyard, I make sure every dog stays safe and well supervised at all times. I take dogs out for regular leashed walks in my quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood, and my neighbors are very nice, making it a comfortable and safe area for daily walks. Indoors, your dog will always be kept in a secure, calm environment. I never leave pets unattended, and I follow your preferred routines for feeding, bathroom breaks, and leash handling. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bells commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,392 sitters in Bells, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
